    Well, yeah ... After Snell, Morton and Glasnow, the 4 and 5 will both be openers, so that would push those guys back to 6,7 and 8. Meadows and Morton are the real deal. The Twins caught a break missing Snell and then Garcia and Pham for the most part. Keirmaier (sp?) is a great outfielder. Otherwise, I wasn't super impressed.

    My last seven 1st round desires once the Twins were on the clock (result): 2012 Buxton (Buxton) 2013 Braden Shipley (Stewart) 2014 Nola (Gordon) 2015 Carson Fulmer (Jay) 2016 Forrest Whitley (Kirilloff) 2017 Hunter Greene (Lewis) 2018 Jackson Kowar (Larnach) I like Matthew Allan at his point for 2019, and I hope the Twins can figure out the bonus offer.     The last couple years, the Twins have saved money in the first round to pay above slot in the later rounds for high schoolers. I wonder if they would consider the opposite this year if Allan is sitting there at 13. Pay above slot early and then draft cheaper prospects later.

    I enjoy hearing the stories as long as it doesn't take away from viewing the game. Devin Smeltzer likely wants to be a major league baseball player that happened to beat cancer when he was 9. He likely doesn't want to be the cancer kid who plays baseball. It seemed a bit awkward for Devin's dad to cheer for his son making a nice play on a weak groundball with Marni and a mic in his face. Again, it's a great story. It's obvious that what didn't kill him made him stronger and all that good stuff, but I think people like Morris take it too far. He just keeps adding to his resume of being the worst option as a color analyst.

    I only voted for Twins in the AL, except for 3B, just because I like Chapman. Will be stuffing every day .... Not that it matters, since way more Yankees and Red Sox fans will do the same.

    Looking through the plays of the FTM game, I see that Enlow induced a bunch of grounders to go with his Ks. It must be nice having a better defense behind you. I won't be surprised if Enlow launches now. He certainly has the stuff.

    Baldelli stated during his interview that the current plan was for Smeltzer staying with the team and getting another start. I suppose it will be at Cleveland. I suppose the plans could change too.

    Detroit tried that and then Perez adjusted and started mixing in more change-ups. As much as the cutter has been lauded, he actually has a couple more developments that have led to his success this season. Fastball velo is up as well.

    O/U up to 10 (from 9.5) and Minn to -110 (from -115) for the game tonight .... Vegas didn't like Smeltzer replacing Perez

    I do a lot of indoor and outdoor rock climbing and sustained a shoulder impingement injury a couple years ago. I had to shutdown and received a lot of soft tissue work using the active release and graston techniques. Ice and rest were the biggest relievers. It took about six weeks and then another two or three weeks of easing back in. I'm nowhere near the athlete that these ballplayers are, so I'm hopeful on this one for Graterol. Then again, the climbing moves I attempt are nothing compared to throwing baseballs 85-100 mph 100-200 times (including warmups and throwing programs) every five days.

    F Baldelli for pulling Odorizzi at 5.1 ... I would have won 13-1, instead of 12-1 in fantasy this week!!! Just kidding, I'm sure he wants to keep him fresh to go down and dominate his old mates. It's so fun ramming the White Sox. Anderson getting his bat-flipping hands knocked out of the series was icing on the cake!
