  1. I'm with you, Nick. Zero interest in 24 Legacy.
  2. Let's hope so... Rosario could play CF in a pinch, but I'd prefer seeing Granite there instead of Rosario moving over and Grossman playing in a corner spot.
  3. As I said in the other thread, this is the type of waiver wire move to make in order to end the D Santana era. There's probably a 10% chance Light gets claimed, so he'll end up in AAA. I'll like this move a lot more if Adrianza is also DFA'd so we can clean up this mess on the 40 man roster.
  4. I also did not know Hawley was attached to Legion. That alone will draw me to tune in, even though X-Men isn't really my thing. Hawley is approaching Coen Brothers territory, where if their name is attached to it, I'm giving it a chance.
  5. Agreed. Whether it's injury or ineffectiveness, this group of names will sort itself out soon enough.
  6. Another mind.boggling. thing about Atlanta's offense in the 4th quarter: They were snapping the ball with 15-20 seconds left on the play clock. Overall they were playing like THEY were trailing in the 4th quarter, not the other way around.
  7. I need to jump back on Vikings.... Binged the first season or 2 on Amazon Prime, then forgot about it after that.
  8. It does in all of us.... I'm over the 1999 championship game.... The Falcons have been just as mediocre as the Vikings since that time. I'm very tired of the Cheatriots story. And this win will make their fan base as insufferable as ever.
  9. I enjoyed Gaga's halftime show... It was pretty smooth transitioning from one song to the next, and she was able to get the crowd choreographed with her dancing on stage which was cool to see. Apparently they had drones above them doing a light show, but we couldn't see it on the broadcast. The commercials were very meh this year. None stand out in my mind... We were doing prop bets at the party I attended such as first animal featured on a commercial, first car brand commercial, first pizza commercial, first fast food commercial, etc. I was getting crushed....
  10. Agreed... What was Shanahan thinking by abandoning the run? That Julio Jones amazing sideline catch should have been the final nail in the coffin... Run 3 times, burn a minute or so off the clock, kick a FG to go up 11 with 3-ish minutes left.
  11. My pen: Hughes (long reliever) Kintzler Pressly Rogers Belisle Chargois Open competition between Boshers / Hildenberger / Melotakis / other AAA reliever With the addition of Belisle, I'm not sure Haley sticks as a Rule 5 pick.... Tonkin experiment is over.
  12. My buddy is currently smoking brisket as well.... WAY more excited for the grub tonight than the game. Menu tonight: Brisket BBQ chicken sliders Queso Pizza dip Spinach dip Chili Cookies and other assorted desserts
  13. The Wire is my latest binge show! It wasn't on my radar while it was on live TV... Loving it so far through S1:E8!
  14. Kudos to you for still playing pickup basketball! We used to have a company basketball team that I attempted to play in... Until one of my mid-30's co-workers tore his achillies making a move towards the basket. Our team dispersed after that.
  15. Well, the picture or video goes away after up to 10 seconds, and with texting, it's permanently on that other person's phone.... Depends on how much you trust that other person I suppose.
  16. You're not asking for nudes..... Just kidding! Most of the time it doesn't provide much value, but I enjoy sending specific friends snaps of what I'm doing compared to posting on Facebook.
  17. Also, in fairness, I'm sure there are posters on here in their mid-30s that wouldn't like being described as approaching 40. Hell, I'm 26, and if someone described me as a 30 year washout, I'd do this: http://cdn0.sbnation.com/imported_assets/1001375/1780549-shakehead.gif
  18. I'm not an Instagram user, but I thought I heard they tried making a "SnapChat" feature on their platform that didn't work out well. Could be wrong about that.
  19. In the spirit of Valentine's Day coming up, this signing is the equivalent of taking your SO to Red Lobster.... If we planned this out a month or two in advance, we could have found a table at Manny's Steakhouse!
  20. I agree with the org rankings at the bottom. Since Garver is viewed as a better option than Murphy, he starts in AAA getting everyday at-bats, while Murphy finds at-bats when he can at the MLB level. If Castro goes down with injury, Garver becomes the every day C in Minnesota. Vanimal Host of Minnesota Twins Whine Line
  21. SnapChat is uber popular with my generation and younger.... And most have stuck with them while others tried to copy their model like Instagram and Facebook. It does scare me that they have an issue making money and don't really have a plan to generate more revenues.
  22. Anyone looking to invest in SnapChat when it goes public? http://money.cnn.com/2017/02/02/technology/snapchat-ipo-filing/index.html
  23. He may strike out more batters, but he also gives up a ton of hits. Purely by the eye test I don't like his flat fastball... It may come in at 95, more often than not, hitters can catch up to it and get good contact. I'm willing to gamble there are other options who can make a better impact than Tonkin next year.
