  1. First, thank you all for the time and thought you put into this list. Yes, there is zero doubt that the Twins have the best A+ and below minor league system. Arguably, the best AA and below system. But, I think, and this very moment, we are looking at the apex of the system for the foreseeable future. I think we all expect to lose 2 or 3 top prospects between now nd July 31st. And (hopefully) The Twins will not have high draft picks over the next few years. So, let's put this Top 30 in the vault.
  2. If the minor league starting pitcher of the year is #33, then, yes, the State of the System is indeed strong.
  3. A playoff rotation is only four deep. If the Twins trade for a starter, then two current starters get moved to the pen come playoff time. Win-win? But I'd still prefer they trade for rental RPs.
  4. Exactly my thought. 31st ranked player chosen 13th. I don't know the slot $ for 31, but Flavine didn't flash the magic they have had in past years.
  5. So, based on their Day 2 draft, it sees like Elizabethton will field an opening day defense of a pitcher, a catcher and seven middle infielders.
  6. They had better. Stott was a much safer pick. I still trust that their next two picks will reveal their strategy.
  7. Tons of injury worries. In a vacuum this is a horrible (C-, Jonny Flynn) pick. But lets see how the bonus money works out.
  8. I'm guessing way under slot. # 28 ranking Let Flavine use the extra money to do their magic.
  9. Given the run on position players. There may actually be value in college arms at 13
  10. Who was the point guard Johnny something that the T-Wolves took ahead of Steph Curry? I bring that up since whomever the FO selects will get at least an "Interesting choice" from me as opposed to a "are you out of your frickin' mind?" I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm relaxed and curious as opposed to scared about a stupid outcome.
  11. The Logan Davidson pick is interesting as they can probably sign him for (well) under slot. That seems to be a Flavine move.
  12. Now that two minor league months are in the books, could you show cumulative season statistics for the Top 20?
  13. I assume the Red Wings bus it to Buffalo and Syracuse, but I’ve always been curious. For a AAA team, what is the cut off between bus and air?
  14. My opinion? Lack of pitching depth at AAA. They have twelve, yes TWELVE pitchers with ERAs over 6, including the team leader in saves (6.63!).
  15. Thank you Cody. I think your point would be better displayed if you flipped the x and y axis.
  16. Did I read that correctly? After 1 game at AAA Tademo was demoted all the way down to Extended Spring Training? Ouch. That's kind of harsh. That seems like a four level demotion after one game. Did he commit a felony or something?
  17. My votes: The good: 2.38 1.77 1.35 1.10 Those are the ERAs of the four Twins' pitchers. It makes me want to ask: "Who are you and what have you done with my Minnesota Twins." The bad: (and I'm stretching for this): O-fers from Bux and Polanco. Any starting lineup that has Adrianza in it. The Terrible: I concur: When will MLB either: a) go to automated Balls and Strikes, or "judge" umpires compared to automated Balls and Strikes. As for the terrible injuries to the Angels, I wish them full recovery in t three days.
