  1. Being left out of the joke is driving me... what's the word...crazy!
  2. I actually prefer the original with Gene Wilder. But the remake is very good as well. I love me some Gene Wilder. Especially in Mel Brooks productions.
  3. As someone who just made a Spaceballs reference, I imagine that I fit both of those categories.
  4. Fair enough. I assume that you're familiar with the musical offerings of The Producers then? ?
  5. Shocking that a woman classy enough to ask about an aria in a commercial hasn't seen Spaceballs! ? Mel Brooks, yes.
  6. You're trying to get me banned from the site, aren't you?
  7. It may have come around later, but it's a hell of a lot more entertaining!
  8. Are you teeing up a particular scene from Spaceballs?
  9. And that's fair. Probably too late for that at this point unless is gets worse though. He clearly wants to stay on the field and that's why he is fine with how they're approaching it. Tendonitis isn't a quick thing to get rid of. Especially in the knee. In my experience with that, rest and pain tolerance is about the only thing that can be done.
  10. He's also said that he's fine with how they're managing his playing time due to the knee issue, acknowledging that it's keeping him on the field and off the IL. And that's likely because he likes the IL even less.
  11. I think this article shows the brilliance in the creativity involved to get a deal like this done. And that goes for both parties. Buxton is a unique situation where he's a superb talent, but also one that has missed significant time. Buxton has always bet on himself, and this contract is another example of that. Kudos for both sides seeing the reality of the situation and getting this done and hopefully it continues to reap benefits for both as well.
  12. Being division rivals probably has a lot to do with it too. Familiarity tends to limit the impact overall record has in many cases.
  13. Sweet! I always wanted to be a rocket scientist. I was never that good at math. I chose estimating instead. Is this one of those "honorary" titles or is my diploma in the mail?
  14. Let's start summer off right...with a win over Cleveland!

  15. I've seen plenty of replays and game recaps of his PAs, but haven't seen many (if any) live as they happen.
  16. Nice write-up, Ted. Having not seen the game, that's a nice look at a pretty critical spot. The inability to throw would be base stealers out will always drive me nuts. But, seeing as that nobody runs anymore, that's not as important these days. May as well take advantage of pitch framing while you can.
  17. Of those listed, Sano is easily the most expendable. Problem being, he's also the one with the lowest value. Assuming they aren't sellers, it makes no sense at all to trade Correa. With Lewis out, there simply isn't another player to step into that role for a playoff caliber team.
  18. I haven't seen any AB live, but I think it was time to call him back up. He seemed to have found his stroke in St. Paul, so it's just a matter of him getting acclimated with big league pitching again. He does look better than he did earlier in the season. More confident, favoring the wrist less. He seems to finish his swing better now.
  19. The inconsistency with the bats is wearing on me. For the most part, the pitching is still doing their job. But the bats disappear about as often as they put it together.
  20. That series could have gone better.
