  1. It's amazing they're doing what they're doing offensively with all of these outs on the base paths.
  2. They're just teeing off on the Yankee pitching and I'm rather enjoying it. Not embarrassed to admit it.
  3. Maybe that's a sign that he's not as good as we thought?
  4. Even if that means they'd likely be losing?
  5. I just got done mowing the stupid lawn. Just now sitting down with the dog and a drink. I miss anything fun?
  6. No, probably not, but that's likely what is required. He's caught lightning in a bottle before this season, so it's at least possible. I think Archer got away with a lot of pitchers in the heart of the plate, but he must have been keeping the hitters off balance enough because he never paid for it. So, perhaps the right game plan can do the trick?
  7. First fireworks night at Target Field tomorrow!

Fireworks night was excellent for beating traffic.

That's often my strategy as well.

  8. Bundy needs to be at least as good as Archer was yesterday. That probably still isn't enough, but probably gives them a fighting chance if Cole is Cole tonight.
  9. Perhaps he is, but he's kind of a sell low candidate right now too. I'd much rather deal him than Lewis, I can tell you that.
  10. Other than Duran, I pretty much sit on the edge of seat the entire time that a reliever is pitching. I don't really have much trust in any of them generally speaking. Jax is growing on me, Thielbar is okay. For me, it's almost better to ask me which relievers I distrust the least.
  11. Gotta kill time on that long trip across town somehow. May as well study up, right?
  12. Fair enough. Though, I'm one that actually values defense at 1B, so I would disagree that it's easy to fill. That said, this organization has so many corner types that it frees up a spot. And he shouldn't be off limits in a trade, I would agree with that.
  13. I'd disagree on Kirilloff mainly because he's your 1B guy and Miranda 3B. There's room for both plus Larnach. I think Urshela is more short term while those guys gain MLB experience.
  14. Stanton in RF was hard to watch, yet thoroughly enjoyable. Nice game from Archer. I think he got away with a lot of stuff over the heart of the plate, but he had the Yankees off balance because he never paid for it. Another nice day for the bats too. The Jeffers and Buxton bombs seemed to energize the team too. Fun to watch.
  15. Better include my disclaimer on the side effects.
