    I’m game. I’m also setting the over/under of 0.5 games before someone complains about the robot and hammering the under. Tonight, I’d like all 9 of our players to bunt in their 1st PA. Damn the numbers, I’ve got a gut feeling at least one of them will end up a hit.

    His gut feel could have been to take him out before things got dicey. Bundy is a back of the rotation starter, after all.

    LaRussa is the owner’s dream hire. I think there’s better odds Anderson is shipped out by the deadline for a boat load of prospects.

    They’re living the 2018 Twins season. The talent is there but they can’t get out of their own way. They haven’t been a concern all season long.

    He’s only been a regular on the Twins for 7 years. Can’t expect people to spell his name correctly when he’s been around for such a short amount of time.

    He’s the #5 starter, and #6 starter when we had a 6 man rotation. Yeah, he’s a 5 and fly guy if the game is close. I have no problem with that logic at all.

    I have zero issue pulling the plug on Bundy before things got out of hand.

    Re: White Sox. They can’t get out of their own way this year. They’re living the 2018 Twins season. The talent is there but something is off with them. I will make a bold prediction that they wave the white flag and trade away MLB players to restock the farm system.

    Lots of positive surprises so far. Buxton’s health and performance. His scheduled off days drive a lot of people crazy, but he’s on pace to play 120 games. I think everyone would have been thrilled to hear that in the winter. Luis Arraez batting so well that he’s forced the issue to play every day. Sonny Gray has been a fantastic trade acquisition. Chris Archer has also held things together better than I ever expected. Finally, Carlos Correa has been worth the money with his production and leadership. It’s not all sunshine and roses though. My disappointing surprises is seeing how feast or famine the lineup is. The lack of progression in the pitching pipeline is also disappointing. All winter we heard the phrase “if you want 2 good MLB pitchers, you need 10 prospects.” Yet we’re still relying on veterans to patch the bullpen and back end of the rotation.

    2 biggest buzz kills today was Correa sawing off half of his bat grounding into a double play. And Celestino grounding out to 1B with 2 on base in the 8th inning. Disappointing that Buxton wasn’t available even in as a sub. That was a critical point in the game that made all the sense in the world to PH Buxton.
