  1. Personal choice, really. I don’t think iPhones are that great. I’ll most likely go back to the Pixel when I pay off this phone in the next few months.
  2. Sad to see, really. 2 guys who were at the top of the NFL now scrounging for pocket change because they blew all of their money.
  3. Your one stop shop for all things trade related around the league.
  4. His upcoming arbitration hearing is going to be fascinating. The Angels will probably do their best to avoid going to arbitration and offer $35-40 million. He could potentially get more in a ruling as a top hitter and top pitcher in baseball. Free agency for him will be fascinating as well. Some teams may be eliminated if they want him to be a primary OF or primary P. AAV $45-50 million is my guess.
  5. Good list with a small correction. Enlow is already on the 40 man. I’d add him to the list of people on the 40 who could be dropped in the offseason.
  6. I would love to hear it as well. Unfortunately I think we’ll get a quick acknowledgment and good luck to him from the FO and Baldelli. Vikings fans just learned this year why Norv Turner left mid season in 2016 once the GM and Head Coach were fired. Unless Falvey, Levine, or Baldelli are out the door too they’re not going to air the dirty laundry.
  7. The college game is even more complicated since he left U of Arkansas. Now that athletes can get paid, recruiting in the SEC is even more cut throat and murky as ever.
  8. Doubling the salary is nice, I totally get it. The bigger red flag to me is him interviewing discreetly in the first place and not allowing the Twins to counter offer. That indicates to me that it’s not just money that went into the decision. Perhaps he did not have as much power and influence as fans think.
  9. I would rather see 71 year old Tom Kelly in Zubas as a stogie in his mouth feeding the pitching machine instead of position players throwing 40 MPH floaters. If I were at Target Field and saw Nick Gordon warming up on the mound, I’d walk to the car.
  10. I’m not sure position players will hurt their arms when they’re throwing 45 MPH floaters to home plate. I would love to see a team decide to bat around and score 20 runs because a position player is in there. Because the way things are trending, it’s making a mockery of the game. We’re better off having a concede/forfeit rule in place than continue seeing position players pitch every week.
  11. Multiple times today I was bracing for the worst. Still can’t believe Joe Smith wiggled his way out of the 7th unscathed. - Excellent start by Smeltzer. 6+ innings in 6 of his 8 starts. Keep it up! - Nice to be back tied for the division lead - Cleveland’s true colors will be showing soon. Good luck navigating through 7 double headers with a 13 pitcher staff.
  12. The St Paul Saints won 7-1 as well. The org is off to a strong start already. Balazovic 3 shutout innings 2 hits 3 K.
  13. The Twins scored 5, 10, and 1 runs this series. Obviously the game we score 1 is a winner.
  14. Falvey and Levine seem like sharp enough people to see that there are 2 unusable relievers wearing a Twins uniform right now. Thornburg hasn’t pitched in well over a week and Duffey is a mop up guy.
