  1. Agreed. I don’t think Falvey and Levine are realistically on the hot seat. However, this is a very important evaluation year for fans, and the lack of any progression with the pitching prospects is damning.
  2. For 2/$19 too. Anytime you have a chance to double down on a 37 year old having a career 1/2 year, you take it according to Rockies FO.
  3. #HugWatch. It would be a total Rockies move to extend a 37 year old closer and trade away Kris Bryant…
  4. Good for Austin Riley. Cashing in on his breakout year.
  5. The last couple of years have been riddled with injuries. Idk why that would change going forward with the same players. There’s no guarantee that Buxton will be healthy for 100+ games in 2023 and beyond. We’ve seen almost zero progression from the pitching prospects. Having a sustained contender is the stated goal of the FO but it’s hardly a given with a mid market team. The contention window closes quickly.
  6. If any of these prospects work out for the A’s, the Yankees can trade for them back with future prospects. Pretty courteous of Oakland to be the Yankees’ MLB development system.
  7. Agreed. I’m much more interested in Pablo Lopez (if he’s really available for trade), and Mahle. There’s still time to make some moves. At the very least for bullpen help. If we do nothing, totally agree. It’s time to question what the FO is doing and if they’re the right people leading the organization.
  8. Trey Mancini traded to Houston.
  9. Where Frankie? On his way to the Yankees.
  10. Typical Rays underwhelming move who will probably turn out to be a multi year all star.
  11. Not surprised to be honest. I’m only expecting a bullpen arm or 2.
  12. Yeah, I don’t see how this makes Milwaukee any better this year.
  13. One less SP on the free agent market this winter.
  14. Just the Yankees #7 prospect RHP Hayden Wesneski. 24 year old who’s been starting in AAA all season.
  15. Fair and balanced argument. The season is a marathon and opinions evolve as we get new information. Ober, Alcala, Dobnak, Stashak, Paddack, Coloumbe, Romero, and Winder all lost for the year on the pitching staff. OF depth being severely tested throughout the year. Sano being injured or lost at the plate all year. My confidence level in this team isn’t as high as it was in May and June. However, I’d be more disappointed in Falvey and Levine if they stood pat or sold. Even with the current standing of the team. I have not bought into the Twins being in on any of the SP names that have been thrown around online. At the very least, we need to acquire a couple of bullpen arms. Otherwise this ship is going to keep sinking.
  16. Interesting to see who takes over for him at The Athletic. Or if Arif Hasan takes on more responsibility on the beat.
  17. Dear Derek Falvey, Football is right around the corner. It’s up to you whether people continue to care about the Twins or tune out your team by preseason week 1. P.S. DFA Sano soon, please. Love, Vanimal
