  1. What the Twins need this inning http://a.abcnews.com/images/Technology/GTY_swarm_of_bats_BE9805-001_jt_131124_16x9_992.jpg
  2. Other teams reliever stats: low numbers like zeros, ones, maybe a two here and there Our reliever stats: lots of sixes, eights, big numbers, double digit numbers, etc
  3. LOOGY sighting! It's a three run deficit that feels like a twelve run deficit, but still!!!!
  4. Gee says yes, he was getting a little tuckered in his first appearance
  5. Another game, another strikeout looking by Castro where he turns and whines to the umpire. He does this regularly and it's just bizarre, immature behavior for a catcher in particular. You could hear Gladden say "that's a good call" off mike after Castro struck out in the 7th last night.
  6. Fair enough. Industry prospect rankings always remind me of investment analysts all chasing each others opinions, but fair enough.
  7. True, but Tyler Wells strikes me as a good comp to James Kaprielian, an over aged low minors guy who strikes guys out but can't stay healthy. Kaprielian is the only arm New York gave up in the deal. I wonder if Wells and then Gordon would have been the basis of a trade. I wonder if the Twins even talked to Oakland.
  8. Gladden was ranting about that same thing. Interesting. He also mentioned how Gimenez and Pressly were not on the same page with pitch selection. With too many shake offs and resets.
  9. I hate to say it, but this looks like a good trade. As for 2017, I guess we're going to roll with some combination of Santiago, Gibson, an AA-AAA call up, and see what happens.
  10. Correct, according to this writer the Yankee are/were facing luxury tax penalties https://www.beyondtheboxscore.com/2017/7/30/16064814/jaime-garcia-trade-twins-yankees-zack-littell-dietrich-enns-strategy-buyers-sellers-deadline
  11. Rogers and Kintzler both look cooked right now. This would have been good time to try out Hildenberger in late innings. Or Belisle who was fully warmed up and waiting to enter.
