    Let's hold off for say, oh a season or two, before we proclaim we are smarter than every other front office, This pitching staff could go from great to bad in a hurry.

    I'm always baffled when I read that a pitch that a pitcher throws the most is his least effective. Is it because it's the only pitch he can throw for strikes?

    The only way the Twins get close to a world series is have multiple pitchers come up and be very good to great in their 1-4 seasons. After that they get to expensive for the Twins. How likely is that to happen?

    Living in Des Moines, (AAA Cubs) I've been to a bunch of games with the pitch clock. Trust me, it's a good thing, and the pitchers seemed to adapt quickly to where I have only seen it come into play once.

    well, one of the problems if you don't acquire any established pitchers is that you are basically wasting one of Buxtons prime years.

    There is no chance Max returns an upper tier SP with 3 years of control. None. you would have to add a LOT more........

    People can debate the stats forever. One thing that is hard to dispute is that one was must see, the other like watching paint dry.....
