    Almost seems like Perez figured out his career was on the line and he needed to get things together or else.

    I really hope you're right. It's that with Sano, I admit I'm down on Sano, so, I hope he's finally figured it out and gotten his act together. Though, a case can be made that two of the last three years have been lost years for this team which may not have helped Sano's development.

    I think Sano has a short leash, however. The team has not missed either his bat or his defense.

    I think not having Astudillo's bat Friday cost the team. Glad to see the Twins win one. Maybe even get out of NY with a series win.

    I think last night showed how much Astudillo is missed from the lineup. I was disappointed in the game, understatement of the year, because I thought the Twins would go into New York and pound the Yankees into dust. Today is another day and, hopefully, the Twins regroup.

    Hopefully the Twins can build off this 6 and 1 home stand as they make their yearly dreaded trip to Yankee Stadium. ------------- At the rate the Twins keep building, they're going to have a skyscraper.

    At this point, I think the season has gone far better than any fan expected. I will enjoy the ride while it lasts and if it lasts all the way into the playoffs, so much the better.

    If both Odorizzi and Perez are coming into their own, then this will be a fun season.

    Looking ahead to the Yankees, it looks like the Yankees have yet to beat anyone with a winning record.

    I'm resigned to Sano having an excellent career, with a team other than the Twins. Something just doesn't seem to be there for Sano when it comes to playing for the Twins.

    Things are going just the way I thought they would. (I may get a lot of use out of that particular image this year)

    I'm the opposite, I think the top guys in the pen have been overworked and need an extra day or two. I was glad to see it wasn't necessary to pull out the "A" guys, especially against Baltimore.
