  1. I think Park will be claimed and that team will score big. He's got huge potential, he's a hard working guy with the desire to play MLB baseball. He's got the talent to do it. So I really hope he makes waivers.
  2. Pats are favored by 3, but I'll take the Falcons straight up as they win the turnovers.
  3. With Plouffe being gone we should improve 10 games. The only way we lose 100 is if I'm wrong.
  4. The addition of the two pitchers today could help. Vogelsong wasn't great after coming back from the line drive to the face, but then who would be. I can see him possibly helping the rotation.
  5. If you look closely at the photo you can see how MLB ball is strung tighter, hence the lower profile. Why they use all these different balls is beyond me. You'd think the balls would be uniform.
  6. The seams are higher on the International league ball. I pointed that out to a couple coaches a few years back and they didn't know why. I found out - they're cheaper to make.
  7. I think when the season is over we'll look back and say the rotation hurt us the most.
  8. These grades look pretty accurate to me. I might give Santana an A, he gutted out a lot of innings when he didn't have squat for pitches. I'd give him an A+ for effort, far ahead of all but Hughes who just folded up after bad early innings.
  9. The way Seth laid it out now, I agree. But there'll be a half dozen changes before April 1st. I figured Tonkin had seen his last days in a Twins uniform, and have a hunch Perkins may never play again. Berrios starts in the rotation, and I have doubts with May. Anyway, if there aren't a bunch of changes this will be another long season.
  10. I was at the duck shack with 10" of snow and 45 mph winds. Ma Nature was so happy she let it all go! I don't drink, but when I saw it on the news I did have a cold one from my buddy. So happy!!!!! Now this team can improve and move forward.
  11. Plouffe won't be bouncing back around here. He's gotta go. Hopefully Hughes will bounce back, as we need starting pitching to even think of nearing the .500 mark. Gibson needs to bounce forward also.
  12. I'm not surprised to see Bruno and Davis go. It'll be interesting to see if they go out of the org or bring up Chad Allen. Keeping Glynn, Vavra and Eddie doesn't surprise me and I'd go either way with Neil Allen. Nice to see things happening right from the get go.
  13. Not a mention of Perkins in the replies, so maybe some figure the way I do, that Perkins is done. He's currently hanging around Ft Myers, working out and fishing.
  14. I'd go with Dozier. I always complained about his batting average, and this year he brought it up a lot. Kudo's for him.
  15. It is one of the worst, but the pitching is the worst ever.
  16. That's interesting. I didn't see the pinky finger but noticed the wrist angle right away. But man, it would take some fantastic eyesight to see that and get back to the release point in a fraction of a second.
