    That performance against Illinois was a disaster. It was bad enough for a d3 qb to lose their spot. I wonder what the deal is with a Green. I have to think they'll give him some time this year. Hopefully it isn't mop up time against Wisconsin.

    Croft is terrible, Rhoda is terrible. I couldn't believe they stuck with Croft on the second half. I think Tyler Johnson and Wazniak are alright. Smith would be an excellent receiving back too. Play calling has really bad all year. The running plays looked better on Saturday, so I'll give them that. The next 4 games are winnable. Iowa is pretty bad, and Nebraska/NW are meh, Michigan is not very good either. Without better qb play forget about it.

    Hopefully last night was a turning point. Croft looked way better. While not polished, he can move in the pocket and make plays. I'm guessing Rhoda lost his job. The defense still was eaten alive, until that is fixed it's going to be tough to beat big ten teams.

    Bonnes, I wouldn't do a deal with any of them right now. Buxton needs to play a season without getting hurt, same with Sano. Maybe I'd be down to lock up Rosario, but I doubt he'll cost a ton after next season. Too many unknowns right now to pull the trigger. These guys haven't done what Joe Mauer did when he came up.

    At least Fleck has been successful. I'm not willing to close the book on him already, this is just a brutal start. He won't win a single big ten game this year and miss a bowl game for the first time since Kill took over. Maybe they will surprise me. It isn't Flecks fault he took over a barren cupboard at qb, d-line, o-line, wr, lb. That isn't easy, but when you see someone failing (Rhoda) and have other options you have to use them. I want to know why we haven't seen Green yet. Croft is just as bad as Rhoda so I'm over him too.

    Embarrassing losses to Maryland and Perdue. Really no excuse for 101 passing yards in an entire game. I'm glad I didn't watch it, I'd have come unglued. I don't see another win for this team the rest of the year. Sad state for a team inches from beating Penn State and Michigan a year ago, and thumping Washington state in a bowl.

    Disappointing loss. I didn't expect much, but 500 in the big ten is going to be a lot to ask for.

    Not watching the game, but 150 passing yards through 3 quarters is a complete joke. Can't win games like that, doesn't matter who you play. How bad has Rhoda looked? The first 3 games he looked below average at best, guessing he is being exposed more. I can't wait for the day the gophers have competent qb pay again.

    He isn't, but I don't think they have a better option. I was hoping green would be head and shoulders above these guys, but it's tough to know what's going on behind the scenes. I like the pay calling, and can see how a good qb would take this team a long way. Fleck will get some talent I think. The problem with everyone since mason, was identifying talent. That shouldn't be a problem at a power 5 program. Even Wyoming can recruit qbs once on a while.

    I don't get it either. Brooks is far and away a better back. Smith is a good back, but Brooks is really good. Last year Brooks was hurt so that was understandable. Guess you don't need to get your best guy injured in that kinda game?

    Anyone watch the game? Really disappointing and uncreative play calling. There is only so many times you can run the same run play. Also, why pass so much? Smith and Brooks are excellent backs, so go under center and give them a chance once in a while. Both QBs looked below average and for some reason Seth green isn't in the discussion for starter. Based on this game, I'd be surprised if this team is 500 this year. More an indictment against kill and clayes than fleck.

    The remaining implicated players still have a reason to be upset about the end ruling. Considering the entire process, how it played out, they have would have legitimate reason to believe the university felt compelled to at least punish somebody. To me, that isn't justice. It is still disturbing to me the university feels they can decide criminal matters. If any of those players have money they should take this case up the chain. I would love to see a supreme court ruling limiting university power. While we're at it put a cap on salaries paid.

    Neshek was a good interview. I had Perkins do one. I think Manship as well... I miss the player interviews. Completely unprofessional and barely about baseball.

    I love byto threads! It hasn't been the same here. I rarely care to post about baseball because everyone is so serious here. I might miss the sluts rule posts the most. I think at one point there was even a top 10 porn stars thread. How much better would these forums be with that thread?! (with pictures to judge obviously)

    Meh about Gaga. I'm pretty jaded by the Prince halftime show. Not sure that can ever be topped for me. Favorite commercial was easily the Audi commercial. Overall pretty lame.

    Well i feel better now that players whom weren't in the apartment aren't getting punished. Still, I don't like how everything went down. Seems backwards they had to prove their innocence, but I guess that could be changed with an executive order.
