    The injury to Brooks is going to hurt. He is going to be a good one. I cancelled my direct tv, so i won't pick up as many games as i used to. Should still get to enough though. This year will be telling about the state of the program.

    Good for him. He's had a difficult road. Hopefully he has success.

    Have you looked at any video of release point? Seems strange that he has such great command and now is having trouble with it. I would like to think they know he needs to locate better, Bert himself always talks about it. He will get comfortable and start having success. The twins need to just keep sending him out there. It might go a long ways to reassure him of that as well, if they haven't already.

    I think the lack of strike outs for Stewart had a lot to do with the high amount of walks. It's hard to strike guys out if your control isn't there and you fall behind in counts. Still, he's got about a 3 era while being very young for the league. For some reason, guys just don't hit the ball very hard off him. Bumps in the road are to be expected.

    Escobar is a utility player. No harm in that. Guys like him have long careers.

    We need an updated scoring report from the outside. He has to be turning some heads nationally. That k rate is awesome, i was expecting it to fall a little, but it seems like it's getting better.

    Would hildenburger be a candidate for the afl? I have my fingers crossed he is healthy by then, would be a good sign.

    Great idea for me as well. Once i have the capital and no more student loans (I'll be dead right....) I plan to start investing a little. I'm a straight math major, so i would die for some deep analytical theory on stocks. If i could do it over again, that would be my career choice.

    Ugh. Vielma is bound to be a no hit short stop defensive replacement. That type of player has value, but not when half your infield is this mold. Not a bad guy to have in the system since gardy isn't the manager, but I don't think he will ever be an acceptable mlb regular.

    I'm over Meyer, glad he is gone so i don't have to read about him meeting his potential anymore.

    All the jays gave away was some rookie ball pitcher, #18 on their list. Doubt that is the same offer they gave for Santana, but pass for sure.

    I wish i didn't have 50k in student loan debt to pay off still. I'd love to be involved in more trading like this. I would have bought Facebook as soon as they went public.

    If the team plays 500 the second half that should be a win to all involved. That is a tall task relying on first and second year guys with the bat, and a horrendous rotation. There future looks alright, but until the young guys start contributing more on the mound, it's hard to see this tea contributing any time soon.

    Good luck Hughes, sounds like you'll need it. Baseball is only a small part of life. Injuries suck , and coming back from them sucks even worse.

    The biggest thing to be about Stewart, is that guys just don't make very good contract. He has only allowed a handful of hr (10 in 300+ ip). Weak ground balls and inf are the worst kind of contact, and he induces a lot of them. The strike outs are coming along. Six scoreless innings are nothing to ignore. Twins have been pretty aggressive with him. I don't think they would be if they didn't feel he was ready. I'm just going they can further develop his out pitch to get more strike outs. He is still very very young.

    Don't feel bad, I'm still very skeptical about his future.

    Potential was always there for jorge. I think his rough start in 2014 was the real surprise. That is the real outlier for him. It's almost too bad all the top talent is at the same level. They might have to start making some room for these guys. Seth is probably right with Jay. He will hit his innings limit and finish in the aa pen.

    Kepler is up to stay. That kid has amazing hands and great control of the zone. I almost bet he makes an all-star team before Buxton or sano.

    A .700 ops is optimistic. Guys like Buxton, that have a load of talent and destroy the minors have trouble in the mlb. Defense is his best shot. Play great defense, hit a little, and he'll get some time in the show. College players should destroy the low minors, not have ok seasons.

    Yeah it's tough to get excited about garver. He might have a future in the MLB, but I'd hardly consider him a cornerstone piece.

    Not all will make it. The timeframe is advantageous for these guys too. A lot of radiation space will be available in a few years. The only guy that should have a cement spot is Berrios. If they all are successful, then the twins have a young, MLB ready arm to trade. Could be a big piece in putting together a team that can compete in the playoffs.
