  1. Our 3B for the next 10 years, hopefully! Move him off SS now and let him get comfortable playing 3B. We have some fun minor leaguers knocking really loudly on the big clubs door
  2. Hopefully we get to see him at AA before mid-season and he continues to rake. Not out of the realm to think he could be a regulat by summer if 24'.
  3. Comparing to Stroman is way off, that dude is 5'7". Saw Raya pitch last year and he definitely needs to add some muscle to his legs and upper body. If he can do that and stay healthy, he could be a great find at that draft spot.
  4. If he makes a name for himself this year, he would be 24 heading into next year. Plenty young to have a 10 year career, assuming he stays healthy and his bat travels. Not saying he will be a future All Star, but he has the ability to carve out a nice career
  5. That HR by Gibson was such a thing of beauty! It was a scene straight out of a movie
  6. 65 innings would be kid gloves! If he has healed correctly and built his arm strength back to what it was, 100 innings should be the goal. Watched him pitch some games in HS, he was a man amongst boys. Now he needs to show it in the pros
  7. Let's put something official together! Would love to meet up with some of the crazies on here.
  8. If they want to go all in, they need better RPs and bats without holes.
  9. One of his only values is his defense, I would be surprised if he isn't the opening day RF. Would Sano entertain an incentive loaded minor league contract, if that is even allowed? Love Miguel when he is on, but those days have been dwindling
  10. It takes 2 to tango. The FO has went hard after SPs the past 3 years and were second fiddle every time
  11. Twins were in early on C Carlos Silva, but it appears they are no longer the favorite to sign him, as ge is now projected to land in Cincy.
  12. He is also one of the top players hurt by the shift. How many of his ground balls to to the right side now sneak through? Yankees have a glut of pitchers, hiw about getting some of that depth? Clarke Schmidt or an injured Luis Gil would be fine by me.
  13. Would love to have Fulmer back. Would 3 years $27m get it done?
  14. Heck no on Baez, I'd rather run with a 45 yo Punto! The can I'd kick is Madison Bumgarner. He is no longer an ace, but he is still a solid bulldog on the mound
  15. Just the first round. In addition to getting a kid with better upside, Twins add millions to their allotted money
  16. One of the few professional bats on the roster! I have loved his game since the minors. If a positionless gutlike Schwarber can make nearly $20m per in free agency, Luis isn't far off. While ge will never hit 20 HRs, I really don't care. A 5 year deal around $55m should be a good starting point. I know we have a lot of young guys coming up, but we need to keep some of our established players
  17. Trading solid bats for a questionable A pitcher is not how you win! Unless the Twins think they can turn hi. Into a decent SP, this is a horrendous move for next year. Hard to believe they couldn't have shopped him for better assets
