  1. Chief would get jealous with all of those pizzas I've accrued over the years.
  2. I thought this was a family site? My Netscape filters must be broken.
  3. Sometimes the best things in life are worth waiting for...and then there's those times when you just end up waiting...
  4. Did I see correctly that Meyer was pitching for Anaheim tonight? Sorry to interrupt the game thread with baseball.
  5. Interesting. I have square cut pizza all of the time, but it's round.
  6. Rocky Riccoco was probably the last square pizza I had and that was probably when Chief's 8-track pizza maker was in widespread use.
  7. Been a while since I've had square pizza, but that would work.
  8. If you keep hitting snooze, does the Hawk clock just get more and more disgruntled like Hawk does when the Sox are losing?
  9. Start by putting a CD in the disc drive. After a few minutes, it turns into a pizza!
  10. Can't complain about this. Chapman is exactly a haul, but getting anything for Santana is a bonus. A player AND cash is incredible. I really like that they cleared the 40 man spot on top of everything.
  11. I used to have ESPN on so much that the watermark burned into my TV screen. I never missed SportsCenter when it was just a half hour highlight reel. Now, if it weren't for college basketball games, I wouldn't even know where it was on the dial. I never watch other than games and I rarely even visit their website anymore. They had so many writers covering the same thing that they'd contradict each other and erode any credibility the network or either of the contradicting writers had.
  12. I think that the only way I'll be comfortable with that scenario is if it occurs during the pregame warm ups and only during the pregame warm ups.
  13. I'm less concerned with Gibson because I think his leash is nearing the end and that will work itself out sooner rather than later in a season where I don't really care about wins much. I only care about the progression of the players needed in the future - a future that is looking more and more likely sans Gibson. Buxton's struggles are a much different story. I think his issues are more between the ears than physical. I'd prefer him to work the kinks out with the big league club, but there may be a point where they'll have no choice but to send him down. I hope that it doesn't get to that point. I've been fine with the month long evaluation period, but it's time to start tweaking the roster to bring other deserving guys up at the expense of non-performing veterans like Gibson.
  14. Leave it to Molitor to want to mess with what's working. Keep him in the pen and give Berrios the chance if it comes to it. A two pitch mix is not going to work in the rotation. That's already been proven.
