  1. Heck, I can back you on that! That, or a substitute teacher. They often came hand in hand, but not always.
  2. I didn't see any mentions of school lunch or yoga pants, so I went about my business.
  3. Those were the days. Recess for me now involves taking a lap around the office regardless of weather and only if I have 90 seconds to do so. See, I have no real use for yoga pants!
  4. i think poutine would have been one of those things that I'd take an extra initial helping and went back 9 more times and then be sick for the rest of the day. I'd then learn nothing from it and repeat the process every time it was on the menu.
  5. All of this food talk is making me hungry. All of this booze talk is making me thirsty. All of this yoga pants talk makes me want to exercise. Only so many hours in the day.
  6. It's pizza on a crust shaped like the hull of a boat! With the extra crust, you got a little extra sauce, toppings, and cheese. My wife said that she had a taco salad type thing in a similar presentation. I'm jealous of that.
  7. No, no. I never said that I was entertained. That isn't the right word at all. I wouldn't consider admiring the female form to be entertainment. They aren't specimens or pieces of meat. Yup, better stop there again.
  8. I was a huge fan of taco day. Our school had some turkey gravy stuff over mashed potatoes that I loved. The square pizza wasn't really my thing, but pizza boats sure were! My mom works in the school district and from what I can tell from her stories, kids eat like kings and queens these days.
  9. The guys are wearing regular clothes, but the picture is far too blurry to know what she's wearing. Yeah, I've seen the movie and know she's right. I'm trying to help defend my fellow creep Vanimal.
  10. Not all of them are freshmen! But yes, there is a pretty big difference between 18 and 35.
  11. MUCH OLDER?!?!!? Admire, never ogle. I'm not really offended. I'm 35, not 25 anymore.
  12. I can concur with this, unless casually walking around campus with a backpack is considering exercise. My "jammies" are gym shorts and a t-shirt and I always put something more presentable on even to run to Menards.
  13. Lots of exercise gear looks good, at least in my opinion. Form fitting, compression in the right spots, accentuating curves... I better stop there, I don't want to sound too creepy. I do mean those in a completely respectful tone. I imagine there are odd things that women find guys attractive in that baffle us too. My wife likes a plain white t-shirt with jeans. How boring!
  14. I assure you that nobody wants to see that...Probably especially my wife. My wife on the other hand should get a pair or two.
  15. I appreciate the adjustment he's made and it's great to see him succeed and improve. I'm of the ilk that thinks the more he hits, the more I want to see him traded, but I hope he can be that veteran influence while he is still here...however long that may be.
  16. Great intro! I was on my old college campus last week and marveled at how much different it is now from when I graduated 12 years ago. I also marveled at how young everyone looked and formed a renewed love of yoga pants.
  17. I agree with this completely. You'd think that a guy that managers his hometown team would understand this concept a bit more.
  18. Attendance for most of the games that I have been to this year have been largely buoyed by the visiting teams fans. Most probably approach 50% attendance, but there are a handful of games where it was clearly a home game for the visiting team. Winning really is the only thing that will improve attendance at this point. Ownership has to realize that. I'm not sure a good April will help much, but if that good April spills into May butts could start filing the seats again next year. If not, I'd expect another putrid season of baseball in a echo chamber where I can hear a guy in the opposite corner of the ballpark yelling at the umps as if he were sitting next to me.
  19. I think he's still a draw, but nowhere near what he was in his prime. You still see plenty of Mauer jerseys and jersey shirts. Absent another face of the franchise, I don't know that any single player is really a draw at this point. Mauer is probably the closest they have to that yet with Sano gaining ground.
