  1. Fun fact: the Twins record against teams that are above .500 is 20-14. A healthy team may not steamroll its way through the playoffs (see all the BP discussions), but you'd have to say it would be competitive.
  2. The Royals just DFA'd Boxberger, so there's another one for Falvey's and Levine's collection at Rochester.
  3. Carlos Torres, not Ronald Torreyes. I doublechecked, it's Torreyes. Torres is not mentioned.
  4. Giles. The Twins have plenty of prospects to trade without touching their top 5.
  5. Bumgarner as a starter could free up Perez for the BP. The question is of course would Perez be an improvement to the BP?
  6. So I turn off the game when the Sox have runners on first and third with one out in the 10th thinking that not only will the hometown 9 lose, but that this will be the start of a rather dismal run of games that let's Cleveland climb back to within 5. I guess I don't win anything, do I? Der Schlagmeister is der Best!!!
  7. By my count the BP has given up 31 runs in the last 10 games. Not a whole lot of apparent help at Rochester. How long before they Twins start recalling pitchers from Pensacola if they don't make a trade or two?
  8. Happiness is having Garver and Cron on the bench last night and not seeing where I'd need to have them pinch hit.
  9. Meanwhile, not only does der Schlagmeister win AL player of the week, they name a space telescope after him. No really, they did. http://www.sci-news.com/astronomy/transit-least-squares-exoplanets-kepler-data-07229.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+BreakingScienceNews+%28Breaking+Science+News%29
  10. Here's an interesting number -- the Twins have 35 wins but only 16 have offered a save opportunity to the bullpen. Only 6 teams in MLB have fewer.
  11. Looks like it will be a 9 game lead over Cleveland later this evening. Rays are up 6-1 in the 7th.
  12. One of the lessons from last night for other teams is that if you dare to take a lead against the Twins, all you're going to do is make them mad.
  13. Everyone who said the Twins would be 17 games over .500 with an 8 game lead over Cleveland before Memorial Day raise your hand.
  14. On a Kiermaier inside the park home run in Cleveland, Mercado appeared to have gotten a knee from Martin in a very delicate part of the body. https://www.mlb.com/gameday/rays-vs-indians/2019/05/23/565341#game_state=live,game_tab=videos,game=565341 Ouch-a-rama
  15. Not to be too picky, but in the multi-hit game section section you left out Kepler’s HR and one HR for Sano.
