I agree. Play Kepler in CF for 2 or 3 weeks and see if you can handle it. If can, his major league is off the ground. Playing Santana anywhere in the field makes no sense to me.

I did meet a guy (in his mid-sixties maybe) last fall who grew up in DC and it was fun that he grew up rooting for Killebrew and Allison etc. as Senators. Back when that wasn't a swear word, naturally. NATIONALS: Is that any for a team?

Just because I haven't seen Joe (Mauer, McCarthy, or Madden -- the 3 M Boys) in Right Field, doesn't mean I wouldn't like to. Yes, Park, Sano, and one of the 3M boys in there at the same time in a National League Park, I like it. I'll get on the phone with Molly (4M) right now.

I don't disagree with your plan, but I feel that I must (I must) point out that Joe Mauer has played in the outfield a total of one inning in his career, and that was in 2011. Do you know something I don't? Of course you do, but I mean about Mauer in the outfield.

He's been going the opposite way really well lately, just making solid contact, and he's been rewarded with a starting job. He hits a homerun and ... he tries to launch a grandslam the next time up. I think, though, that Arcia is figuring it out. Next time in that situation maybe he won't swing for outer space.
