  1. Nunez's BABIP coming into the game was .514. I think that is sustainable.
  2. Anybody mention how our uniforms suck again tonight? Purple ... anything but RED.
  3. I think what I did is called niggling. No big deal. Let's hope when he comes back up his K rate is cut in half.
  4. I agree. Play Kepler in CF for 2 or 3 weeks and see if you can handle it. If can, his major league is off the ground. Playing Santana anywhere in the field makes no sense to me.
  5. To be accurate, as stated in the article, Buxton has struck out in 49% of his plate appearances.
  6. I did meet a guy (in his mid-sixties maybe) last fall who grew up in DC and it was fun that he grew up rooting for Killebrew and Allison etc. as Senators. Back when that wasn't a swear word, naturally. NATIONALS: Is that any for a team?
  7. Sano used his left hand which was in a glove to make that catch!
  8. Some older fans in the Washington area look at the Twins like some Minnesotans look at the Dallas Stars. Just sayin that I hate that phrase "just sayin."
  9. Just because I haven't seen Joe (Mauer, McCarthy, or Madden -- the 3 M Boys) in Right Field, doesn't mean I wouldn't like to. Yes, Park, Sano, and one of the 3M boys in there at the same time in a National League Park, I like it. I'll get on the phone with Molly (4M) right now.
  10. I don't disagree with your plan, but I feel that I must (I must) point out that Joe Mauer has played in the outfield a total of one inning in his career, and that was in 2011. Do you know something I don't? Of course you do, but I mean about Mauer in the outfield.
  11. The Twins came into the game leading the league in giving up unearned runs (10) ... Gameday says all the runs today have been earned. Huh?
  12. He's been going the opposite way really well lately, just making solid contact, and he's been rewarded with a starting job. He hits a homerun and ... he tries to launch a grandslam the next time up. I think, though, that Arcia is figuring it out. Next time in that situation maybe he won't swing for outer space.
