  1. I can't find anything on Larnach, except that he tried to play through the pain and that the initial diagnosis was based on what he told them. The final diagnosis was after the team sent him to a specialist. Maybe someone can share more.
  2. As our old friend Meatloaf stated; 2 out 3 ain't bad (games played).
  3. 5 LOB thru 3 and 1 thrown own at home....just another day in Twinky Town.
  4. Probably a pop fly, a strikeout and..... they just won't get him in. Pretty sad situational hitting from this team.
  5. There are 67 players in MLB with 40+ RBI; 67 players / 30 teams = 2.23 per team. 2 is roughly league average, plus RBI is a meaningless stat (just ask the so-called experts).
  6. Showing the young bucks how it's done... https://www.mlb.com/video/cabrera-steals-third-scores?t=major-league-vibes
  7. Thanks, didn't realize Kepler got hurt. Trying to watch on GameDay @ work and I actually had to go do some work....
  8. I now see that Garlick hit for Gordon in the 6th, decision to throw game away was made an inning earlier than I thought.
  9. So why did they have Celestino and Garlick replace Kepler and Gordon to face a righty? And how does Celestino and Garlick give us better OF defense over Kepler and Gordon? I guess the decision was made in the 7th that this was the throw-away game...
  10. 5 complete, it is an official game. Twins need to rally if this starts again, since Minneapolis is getting the whole 20%.....
  11. Hindsight being 20/20 and all, it was kind of obvious that Winder didn't have "it" after the second rain delay. Gotta have a better feel for your team RB....
  12. Which one? Stanton has played 70 games, 33 in the OF. Buxton has played 66 games, 43 in the OF.
  13. Agreed on Arraez (and I'm not a big fan of his), not so much on Buxton, BUT the All-Star game is a popularity contest and NY & LA will almost always win that. Both will probably be named to the team as reserves, but I hope Buxton declines, or the teams whole "we have a plan in place to ensure he stays on the field" becomes a big slap in the face to the fan base (us).
  14. This years team started 27-17 and has gone 20-23 since.....less than .500.
  15. Except that the Twins would have kept him at SS and TD would be calling him another 1st round failure....
