  1. As the only other individual on the team who can play first base, it wouldn't hurt to have him.
  2. Live look-in at Derek Falvey, who is fixing the bullpen at this very moment: http://cimg.tvgcdn.net/i/2012/06/20/5846b814-8b2a-48d4-b6ae-5b2a5438dc3f/1f1232be12b865289b55758996d54bbb/120620jim-carrey1.jpg
  3. Rogers was feeling left out of the bullpen sh*t circus of the last few days, surrenders bullet home run on first pitch.
  4. Watch for 0-2 bunt attempt here Edit: curveballers are harder to bunt in play Strikeout is better
  5. Jason "Babe Herman Ruth" Castro swinging on 3-0 with Dozier on deck, grounds out.
  6. Well we did get one more base runner out of Meyer! But alas he is indeed coming out of the game now.
  7. Bummer Meyer is coming out. He had gone almost exclusively to the curve the last couple innings and the Twins were primed for a big inning.
  8. On the bright side, they do have 683 fresh bullpen arms available, should Mejia not be able to pitch into the 8th tonight.
  9. Meyer has size and good stuff, but no presence or rhythm. Honestly I think ballroom dance classes might benefit him!
  10. I've told you in the past to be careful on those.. Hope you made it out ok
  11. Grossman has basically only started on doubleheader days or as a platoon split substitute. And he's not any good, anyway. And as the poster noted, Grossman figures to be the primary full time DH with Vargas out of the picture. We are talking about needing an additional player who is a good outfielder so we don't have to send Adrianza, Escobar or even Sano out there in a pinch.
  12. Mauer finally missed a hop, late in the game last night. Except for the dropped pop up, Mauer has been spectacular. However, the Twins just optioned his only back up so I'm hoping Mauer is in the lineup every day until Vargas returns. I'm not sold on the notion any player can step in and play first base (i.e., Gimenez or Sano) without unnecessary risk of making a costly mistake.
