    I know I'm slowly (or very quickly, depending on which member of my immediate family you're talking to) going senile, but I can't even remember how long it's been since we won two games in a row. It can't be THAT long ago, but it sure seems like it. Maybe we can do that tonight?

    I know he's got an owie right now, and I'm sure that's bothering him...a broken toe is very painful, but he's been pretty brutal at the plate for a while now. Well before the broken toe. He's just not showing any growth/progress/improvement at all. Extremely unproductive AB's. Tries to pull everything and can't adjust to the shift(s). Weak grounder after weak grounder. He's very good defensively, but he's killing us with the bat in his hands. I agree with what someone said earlier...he looks like he's not really engaged or interested at times. Just not enjoying himself at all out there. Like he's battling something mentally. He's got skills, but he hasn't developed them in the last 2-3 years. After the year he had in 2019, the future looked real bright. It could be time to trade him and give one of the kids the job out there.

    I tuned Baldelli out a long time ago. Nothing he says is particularly worth listening to. It's all generic "manager/FO speak", and tells us absolutely nothing. Personally, I can't stand to hear him talk. I immediately turn him off anytime he comes on the tv or radio sports news. He's just a blah guy. Don't get me wrong...I love the Twins and always will, but to me, it kind of looks like this team is taking on the personality of the manager. They're lifeless and listless. Just kind of going through the motions. No fire in their bellies. I always liked that about Gardy. I'm sure there are people out there that just love Baldelli, but I'm not one of them. I wouldn't mind seeing someone else as manager.

    Wow! That was absolutely putrid. Like a trip on the Titanic bad. How did they even win the one game? 3rd place here we come. WTF happened to Kep? He's brutal!

    Can we figure out a way to bribe the clubhouse guy, so he hides...or burns, Pagan's uni?

    Remind me again...what exactly has changed about our bullpen? Looks like the same old bunch of stiffs to me. Why is Pagan still on this team?

    Nice game thread intro! Our boys need to start turning this slide around and winning some games. Let's hope it starts tonight out in Anaheim.

    I don't think there's very much doubt now, that it's probably gonna be a three team crap-shoot to the Central Division crown. The Twins, Cleve, and Chi. I think any of those three teams could win the division, and no team will run away with it. Yes, I want to win the div and make the playoffs. You can't advance if you don't go to the dance. Let's get there and let the chips fall where they may. If we get waxed, then so be it. That'll just add to our playoff futility. I also don't think we stand much of a chance against either the Yanks or Stros, or probably the Jays too, so if we somehow end up playing any of those three teams at some point, we'll get dusted. We have the talent to win the division, but whether or not we can hit consistently enough, or pitch effectively enough to do it, remains to be seen. Roll dem bones!

    I'm worried that the Dodgers will hang another 10 spot on us. The only thing I'm optimistic about, is that we only play two games there before going to play the Halos. Maybe we can somehow win a game or two over there. I'm not gonna bet the ranch on it though.

    I have no problem giving up the prospects we did, for the return we got.

    I'd take 3 of 5 out there in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I'm not that optimistic about our chances. I'm thinking more along the lines of a 1-4 trip.

    Duffey went unclaimed (not really a surprise) on waivers and refused the outright minor league assignment, so he's a free agent. I honestly expect someone will take a chance on him. He was pretty brutal the last couple years here, but best of luck to him.

    It's so out of character for him to go off like he did. Both on the field when the play happened, and with his comments. We've NEVER seen him do anything even remotely like that since he got the job. It's so out there...it's hard for me to process. I do like that he finally showed some fire in his belly. I like the emotion and anger. I think we need to see more of that from him. Whether or not there was an ulterior motive to get the team fired up, or if it was his honest anger about the play...who knows. No doubt the call reversal was total B.S. I'm sure he'll get fined and probably a small suspension for the comments. We'll see if the whole thing lights a fire under the team. I sure hope so.
