    I agree to a point...Morneau needs to learn when to shut up. No doubt he knows his stuff, but he goes on and on and on at times. I like him, but I wish he would figure out how to end a thought with less words. Perk is ok, he sounds like more of a guy that you could have a beer with, as well as knowing the game. He's also not a monotone voice like Morneau. That's a plus. I don't mind the two of them up there with Bremer, as long as they take their breaks from talking every once in a while. I'm not really a Smalley fan. He's fair, nothing special. Not as polished a speaker as he should/could be. Kind of annoying at times. I don't really care for LaTroy very much yet. He needs to work on things. As with Smalley...he's just ok. I hope we never get Torii again...he's terrible. Just my two cents.

    We have to somehow do it with Bundy and Archer going for us in the first two games. That might be a tall order. They need to step it up and keep us in the games. We also need to keep the runs crossing the plate. If we start using the feather dusters for bats again, it's not going to be pretty. Time is getting short.

    Yep, Margate is just outside of AC. AC is a strange place. Nothing like Vegas.

    Jersey shore? I grew up there. We had a place a few miles from the coast. Brielle, Point Pleasant, Mantoloking, Lavalette, Ortley Beach, Seaside Heights. The boardwalk is a blast. Great area!

    Bert played on some gawd-awful teams too. He was a great pitcher who should have gotten into the HOF much sooner than he did.

    Nice game thread intro. I sure hope they can stop the slide, but unfortunately...when I look at that lineup, I have serious doubts that they will. Things are looking mighty bleak to me. Something has to light a fire under these guys, and get them going again. Time is running out.
