If I remember right, I thought they would get to around 85 wins, so they were worse than I expected. It was a very disappointing, frustrating, season. I hope things get better next year, but I think a lot has to happen for them to improve. With the FO returning along with Baldelli, I wouldn't make any bets on it. This will be an interesting off season. If things remain pretty much as they are, I think a house cleaning is in order.

All of a sudden, Palacios is the best home run threat we have.

I don't think there's ever been any doubt that he would opt out I'd love for him to stick around, but I'd be shocked if he did. Some team (Cubs?) will throw a boat-load of cash and a longer term deal at him.

Buxton is saying now, that he and the team knew he needed some kind of procedure/surgery on his knee back in April. If you remember, he initially hurt the knee on a slide into 2nd base.

Yeah...with our luck, he'd sign here, and in his first game, he'd blow out his elbow again and tear an ACL too, just for good measure. All on his first pitch.

Not a surprise. Falvey announced it yesterday. Can't say I'm thrilled. Of course Falvey and Levine aren't going anywhere either. I'd guess that some of the coaches won't be as lucky, along with possibly the training/medical staff too. Someone has to take the fall. OH BOY! Get ready for more Rocco-Ball next season....I can hardly wait.
