  1. I wouldn't trade May or Hicks. The organization has a ton of money invested in Hicks and it looks as though he's finally figured it out. He looks like a different player completely. And I can't see going after a big name, as we soon will be dipping below the .500 mark on the season. Leave the off season for that, after things shake out.
  2. I'd have Max as untouchable also. I sure hope he stays and it's great to see him healthy and raking this year. A friend was at Rochester's game 2 nights ago and said Arcia was trying to pull everything. Thick between the ears? Ryan better do something quickly though.
  3. His pitches certainly don't seem to have much movement, and when they're down the middle they travel a long ways. If that doesn't change it's going to be a dreadful trudge to the end of the season.
  4. Biggest contributor to this loss is by far poof. I'd like to see him in civies in left field stands with a glove in one hand and a sign in the other saying "hit it to the seat next to me".
  5. Poof's a little scatter armed today, but Sano did score the tieing run.
  6. I don't see much being done other than adding someone for the pen and maybe a bench player in the infield. Our chances are slim and none even if we do win a wild card spot. Don't dip into the future just to get a one and done.
  7. Great work as usual, Seth. It's nice to see Max having a good year. I'd leave him be though to finish out in the minors. Somehow Beresford keeps it up. He deserves a Sept call up.
  8. Me too. If anyone would like to take a swing with the first ML bat he had, stop by the house and I'll toss ya a couple.
  9. How Serious Are The Twins About 2015? Not real serious. Can they maintain their current pace - maybe, but doubtful. It's possible they can hold on to 2nd place a long ways behind KC. I can see TR trying to bolster the pen but that's about it. The future looks bright and thoughts will be toward spring training. I'll stick with my prediction of last year where 2018 will be the first year of a powerhouse in Minnesota.
  10. The Twins just aren't as good as those teams on the west coast. Not knowing the records, the same could be true with the Dodgers, though we might be better against the Padres.
  11. This is going to be one rough road trip, and then the Yankees. .500 baseball is right around the corner.
