  1. Ok front office. I'll give you some good advice (free of charge!). -Cut/trade Kepler. Promote Larnach. -Cut Cave. Promote Rooker. -Make Polanco backup infielder when Arraez comes back. Have Arraez starting 2B. -When Kirilloff comes back make him starting LF -Backend of the BP should be Robles, Alcala, Rogers (God help us), and Duffey.
  2. I can just tell from that Jeffers batflip after his HR that he's playing pissed off after being sent down. Good to see some fire.
  3. The point is that he's not going to be a league MVP any time soon, and the Twins made the right move not putting him on the 40 man.
  4. A top of the order with Arraez, Donaldson, Buxton, Cruz, and Kirilloff is almost unfair. Unrelated, but I wanted to check on how Akil "The next Babe Ruth" Baddoo was doing for the Tigers. He's hitting .203 with a .750 OPS.
  5. Thank God the Twins minor league teams start playing soon. That'll be more exciting to keep track of than watching these big league pretenders.
  6. I really hope the Twins have a short leash with Sano or Kepler if one of them struggles for an extended amount of time when they return. Kirilloff made solid contact and looked like he belongs in the bigs, so he should get the ABs if one of those other two can't produce.
  7. An overlooked part of today: Happ being steady on the mound. He's been a pretty decent offseason pickup so far.
  8. Please for the love of God don't send Kirilloff back down once the COVID players/Sano come back from the IL. Watching him have ABs is really the only thing worth watching this team for right now. Well him and Buxton I guess.
  9. I think fans just have to come to the realization that the Twins will be sellers at the deadline. Time to build around an OF of Larnach, Buxton, and Wallner(?). IF of Arraez, Kirilloff, Lewis (in a couple years), and some possible prospects in deadline deals. With Berrios, Balazovic, Duran, Canterino, maybe Maeda in the rotation, and some other pitching prospects to round out the BP. Personally I would be more satisfied seeing up and coming prospects get some big league reps than watch the likes of Kepler, Sano, Polanco, Garver, etc. struggle in what was suppose to be a banner year.
  10. Smart kid for staying off Social Media. I think a lot more people need to follow that path.
  11. Now I really wish the season was only 60 games again. Would save us all from the pain of watching 162 games from these underachievers
  12. This winning thing is kind of fun. Let's do it again tomorrow.
  13. I'm surprised Larnach hasn't been added to the 40 man yet. He looked like a more developed hitter than Kirilloff during ST
  14. Not even Babe Ruth in his prime could save the Twins right now
  15. I always love prospects getting their chance in the bigs. Not only does it give them important game experience, but it also doubles as a way to let the regulars who aren't performing well know that they could be replaced really quick. Competition is good.
  16. Truly a total system failure right now. It's gotten to the point where I just tune into Twins games to see what kind of creative way they lose. If anybody has tickets to see these clowns at Target Field, don't go. They don't deserve fans in the stands right now.
  17. True, but the team probably wants to make sure it's players and fans are safe. Things will get sketchy no matter what the verdict is.
  18. Unfortunately to top it all off I wouldn't be surprised if part of the Pittsburgh series at Target Field is postponed as well. There's a big decision coming from within Minneapolis this week...
  19. This potential success of this season was riding on a lot on if a good portion of the Twins lineup would revert back to their 2019 selves. There's a good chance that doesn't happen, and if it doesn't, I think it's going to be a hectic scramble for that 2nd wildcard spot. Side note: Twins front office needs to stop playing games. Get rid of Cave and call up Kirilloff already
  20. Jeffers bypassed AAA so yes there are going to be frustrating ABs for him in the bigs, but he's looked good defensively and every AB he gets with the Twins now is incredible important for his development. If he wasn't getting much playing time I would say the Twins were setting him up for failure, but he's getting plenty of ABs, so he's just gotta roll with the punches and learn from every game.
