    Yeah just no. Besides, I honestly don't think the rangers are going to be in the selling business even if this season doesn't go well for them. They just opened a new stadium. They're not going to want to rebuild. They want to "reload"

    Oh I must've missed him coming out since and denouncing China's combating the Hong Kong democracy movement, their putting Uighur muslims in concentration camps, and their real lack of any respect for human rights. Could you link me where he's done that? All I remember from that situation was the NBA forcing Morey to apologize. I'm sure it's not because of $$$$ or anything.

    He was pretty quick to "shut up and dribble" when China told him too. In the end, as always, money talks. Someone like Lebron can say things like he's scared to walk the streets of America, but the minute someone starts talking about human rights elsewhere, he then has a problem holding to the same values. It's the hypocrisy of people like Lebron or Kaepernick that tend to cause people to view their statements as suspect.

    They'd make the playoffs in the normal format. After last night we're at .654 winning percentage. Over a full season that's 106 wins. What are you talking about? There is no reason to panic over 1 bad game.

    Did we just lose the World Series? From the amount of angst here, I think we just lost the World Series. Seriously people, chill. We're fine. You get a rough game from time to time.

    This. There's going to be a lot of cash deals for fringe guys to fill a particular role. I don't see a lot of established or major league-for-prospects deals happening.

    It's a travesty that anyone would give an uber driver less than the full 5 stars when he has a mustache that magnificent. They should be ashamed.

    Dude is super talented but I need to see this level of production for more than his first 2 big league series. I need to see if he can adjust because the pitchers are certainly going to attempt to adjust to him.

    Do they split up the stats by position within the infield? Do we know, for example, that Polanco struggled the most? Or Sano? It would be interesting to see which one had the most difficulty making a play. I would assume Polanco as he'd get more opportunities but I don't know that for sure.

    My prediction is that Lindor is gone next offseason. If they struggle coming out of the gate and they're done early, they'd be crazy not to move him during the year when demand is higher. Cleveland is very much on the downslope.

    I know I shouldn't be, but for some reason I'm shocked that he's still only 26. Feels like we've been hoping for him to put it all together for a whole season for longer than that.

    "60 games? That means we have to average more than 5 homeruns per game to set a new record. Even i'm not that optimistic.." So you're telling me there's a chance?

    Agree with all of this. I always get annoyed when I see things like "little to no defensive upside". Rubbish. Defense is something that can be worked on and improved. He might never be a gold glove but if he's league average, makes the plays he's supposed to, maybe steal a couple of outs here and there, all the while he's hitting 25-35 bombs from the middle of the lineup, that's a win for us.

    I've been lucky enough to see this kid play in person. Believe me, this was a pretty good pick.
