    The end for me was the pulling of Joe Ryan in mid September after the 7th inning of his no hitter. A lost season, and the diehards who stuck it out were robbed of a chance to see history because of a pitch count. I think I watched a handful of innings after that the rest of the way.

    Good for Luis. Most unenjoyable season that I can remember. Even the 90-100 loss seasons weren’t as grating on me.

    No way Jose. This was the worst division in the AL and arguably the worst in baseball. Nobody expected the white Sox to be as bad as they were and Cleveland was just as dreadful until the last month or so of the season. 19 games each against the two worst teams in the AL, and two other mediocre teams and the twins will STILL finish 6-8 games under .500, possibly a 19 game turnaround from late May. how could anyone argue, with a straight face, that the team with the worst record in AL over the last 4+ months got a “fine” job from their manager? Yeesh

    If Arraez can play, and isn’t because of the batting average title chase, I may actually be ashamed to be a fan of this team. Over cautious about everything is no way to run a team and no way to earn the attention of the fans.

    I would imagine we’ll beat the bears at home (hopefully) but then we’ll get the doors blown in at Miami. 4-2 going in to the bye

    They play buffalo AND Miami. Miami is in 2 weeks so Tua will probably be back. Very very thin defensively. This will be a typical Vikings year. Competitive enough to make the playoffs, flawed enough to not get past the first or second round. And too good to get a high draft pick.

    Not impressed with much about this team aside from the special teams. Thought KOC was supposed to be an offensive whiz but so far the offense seems to have even taken a step back from last year. No idea what the deal is with Kirk, thought getting rid of zimmer would make him even better but he’s been bad Kirk for much of the year. Can’t run the ball worth a lick. The defense is bad bad. We had trouble stopping old men Andy dalton and latavius Murray who I forgot was still in the league. A good offense will blow the doors off the this defense. Oh well wins are hard to get and we’ll take every one we can but this appears to be a team that will only finish above .500 due to a weak schedule. Otherwise it’s more mediocrity
