  1. Bundy is looking fantastic. Totally in control of the game.
  2. Agreed. I’m glad Duran is getting his lumps in, good and bad, this month. Because he will be relied upon heavily throughout the season. Thielbar being the most effective and tenured lefty in the pen isn’t ideal. Neither is relying on Sano, Sanchez, and Kepler playing a vast majority of games.
  3. I’m thankful the T-Wolves and Wild are good so I’m not fully immersed in the Twins’ season yet. I’m quite confident Correa, Buxton, and Polanco will turn it up sooner than later. But this team is relying on others like Sano, Kepler, and Sanchez who aren’t good players anymore.
  4. NASA reporting a UFO leaving Fenway Park. That ball was launched off Verdugo’s bat.
  5. Falvey and Levine have shown to be fluid with trades. Making some “win-now” plays simultaneously with selling plays. I could see a top prospect like Balazovic or Lewis traded if a great pitcher/premium position player with 2-3 years of control becomes available. Unfortunately I can also see them giving up too early, especially if we keep digging a hole in April, and trade away Correa, Kepler, etc. for prospects.
  6. I’m good with trading down to 20 and below to fetch a 2023 1st round pick, if possible. If not, trading down to 17 and picking up a 2nd or 3rd this year works too.
  7. The irony is Rooker would have had runway to play LF now, making the trade with the Padres even more of a head scratcher.
  8. My hope is we only have a limited amount of time left to either complain or defend Sano. He’s in the last year of his contract and there’s no way in hell he’s receiving the 2023 option year. This is who he is. And I’ve got a feeling he’ll drop off quickly, like Chris Davis, where he becomes a complete liability in every facet of the game. It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if he’s a salary dump in July.
  9. Jose Miranda playing 1B last night might be foreshadowing what we see sooner than later across the river in Minneapolis.
  10. Now that I’m back in Minnesota I’m looking forward to attending a game again at Target Field. But much like my preference for playing golf, the temp has to be above 60, sunny, and ideally no wind if it’s below 70 degrees.
  11. This does not sound like a quick rest and recovery fix…
  12. He’s worth a flyer for sure. He will come super cheap with some upside. Given that Kirilloff is now dealing with a chronic wrist issue, we could use more depth beyond the prospects.
  13. Not much to say about the Twins performance. Modern Baseball as a whole, which is struggling to capture the imagination of new fans, ruined the fun of seeing history. If Kershaw was at 100+ pitches, sure, that becomes a really tough decision. He was at 80 pitches. I highly, highly doubt another 10-15 pitches would have jeopardized his future health.
  14. Let’s hear from the actual person. Who would have liked to finish the game.
  15. I honestly don’t know what they see in Jax. Almost every pitcher on staff (besides Rodriguez today) I understand. They have something to their game. Jax is the one that I’m lost on.
