  1. He's missed a ton of calls tonight. The pitch that just struck Kepler out has been called a ball 50% of the time. Hard enough to play this game as it is, don't need to fight the umpire as well (both teams).
  2. RISP - 0-8 LOB - 10 Sooner or later this needs to be remedied...
  3. It was ONE hanging curveball to Ohtani, he doesn't miss many of those. The BP has thrown 6 innings, given up 1 run and K'd 11 over the last 2 nights. The sky is not falling.
  4. I think that shows us all we need to know about Buxton's knee. He could not jump to catch that one.
  5. Another "screamer".... And another one of those meaningless RBI
  6. You sir are correct, according to Baseball Savant's illustrator.
  7. Because he is the starting RF, and the Angels are throwing lefties all weekend.
  8. Have not seen anything about Winder starting BP sessions or rehab assignment, but he was already with St. Paul and is on their IL so information may not be as readily available. Feel free to correct me if anybody has any info. Thanks.
  9. Urshela is slugging .630 in August (SSS), but has only started 6 of 10 games. Most teams find a way to keep the hot bats in the line-up, but Beckham has started 3 games ( 2 @ DH, 1 @ 2B) while Urshela has sat on the bench. I understand that Miranda and Arraez are performing well, but Tim Beckham!!
  10. Not gonna lie, Sanchez and Polanco having such high OPS numbers kind of surprises me. I must only be remembering when they fail.
  11. Agree with Larnach, Ober and Jeffers, but looking at who's on the IL right now, it is amazing the team has remained in contention at all: Jeffers, Kirilloff, Larnach - Expected starting position players Sano, Garlick - Expected bench contributors Ober, Paddack, Dobnak - Expected starting rotation Stashak, Coulombe, Alcala, Romero - Bullpen arms Maeda, Lewis - September reinforcements Buxton, Kepler - Walking wounded Correa (120 OPS+) and Polanco (118 OPS+) are not underperforming, they just seem to fail in big spots when the team needs them.
  12. This ump's strike zone is all over the place according to Baseball Savant
  13. Touche'....or do I mean the other word spelled similar....
  14. C4 is taking $$$ off the table every plate appearance. I think he'll be back, he'll still only be 28 for most of next season.
  15. And we shall see if Fulmer, Duran & Lopez can keep the lead.
