I don't see a huge problem with his strikeouts. He is properly aggressive early, when pitchers are trying to get ahead (listening, Joe?), and lays off a lot of pitches when they are trying to nibble and put him away. The good ones hit the corners with very tough pitches - you tip your cap and head back to the dugout. The marginal ones can't hit the corners, fill the count, where he either mashes a cookie or takes a walk. For a number 4 hitter - I'm loving it.
