  1. There must be some team out there willing to give us an old pair of dirty socks, or a pine tar rag, or SOMETHING for him!
  2. This has to be pretty much the end here for Sano...don't you think?
  3. Back in the day...Jesus (I believe it was pronounced "Hey-Zeus"), had a 105 mph heater, a slider that broke two feet, and a straight change that would make you throw your bat in the stands. He gave up baseball, became a carpenter, and then opted for the ministry. I think we're gonna need his help to find some decent pitchers and get this team turned around.
  4. If the Twins are serious, and they want to get ANY of these arms that are out there, they're going to have to up the ante to land them. I have a hard time believing they'll do that, and maybe they really shouldn't. I'm not smart enough to know the answer to that. No doubt we need help. This team is cratering right now.
  5. Castillo is gone. If the Twins want ANY of these pitchers, they're going to have to up the ante to get them. I wouldn't bet on them doing that.
  6. Seattle traded four guys for Castillo. One possible target for us went bye bye.
  7. You would think that KC would've given him a look. They could use pitching help just like a lot of teams. Hopefully, this isn't the ONLY move the Twins make.
  8. Twins signed him to a minor league deal. he was released by KC recently. He had good stats at AAA Omaha this season. Peacock was a decent reliever and sometimes starter for Hou a few years ago. Can't be any worse than some of the stiffs we currently have. I guess we'll see.
  9. Yeah...that AIN'T happening.
  10. Agree 100%, but the problem is...the teams that have the pitchers that we're rumored to be interested in, or want, are going to wait until close to the deadline to get the best return. Basically, they're going to play all the interested teams off of one another in a game of high bidder gets the goods. I wouldn't be shocked if we came up holding the bag and miss the better pitchers out there. We'll end up with option C or D. I sure hope I'm wrong.
  11. Uh...I wonder if the FO realizes we need some PITCHING HELP! Wow...this is not good.
  12. Helluva play by Gio...even though he didn't get the out.
  13. Hmmmn...where have I seen that? Now wait...don't tell me.
  14. How about until Aug 2nd at just before 5pm central time?
  15. I agree with that...they're "showcasing" Sano a little bit to see if he actually does something, and gets some team to bite on him.
  16. Real short leash. I think we know what Sano is after all this time. He's not going to miraculously change.
