    Berrios would not negotiate an extension. Trading him was the only option. If not traded he would now be gone for nothing but a late first round pick. SWR did make an appearance last year

    There are three players on the 40 man roster that were IFA signed by the Twins. There are 3 IFA signed by the Twins as IFA on the top 30 list on MLB.com. Maybe their luck will change with these signings.

    When someone comes out with analysis of the data available to show the effect of the shift ban you can pass judgement on Kepler and Gallo There is another month for the Twins to make trades, and do the bullpen gem mining. So far they have a better catcher. Pretty much the difference will be relative health of the team and bounce backs from injury.

    Any team that trades for Kepler I would think that it would be a contending team trying to plug a hole in the outfield. He has 2 years of control left. That is not really a building block for a developing team. Larnach, Kirriloff, Arraez or even Wallner would be something a team could build around.

    Coming off the season that was a lot of players have something to prove. The order is easily obtained. Go by salary. It is incumbent upon the 7 and 8 figure players to play p. Remember when 6 figures was astronomical?

    100 % are still breathing. That is individual success. What you are calling success to get 80% is a mystery to me.

    Other teams would engage Boras on a contract. Signing one is a different matter. I would suppose Boston could be a landing spot. It will probably be less money and years but it is not the teams that backed out of their offers even though it was the reasonable thing to do for the clubs
