  1. According to the trade simulator, Devers has a value of 37, whereas Arraez and Kepler have a combined value of 34.2. Based on this, the third player should ideally have a value near 2.8. The Twins have several prospects within their system which match that.
  2. As frustrated as I and many others are by the current state of this team, I'm not going to stop rooting for them because of it. The truth is, we can't realistically do anything ourselves to convince the Pohlads to sell the team. Us fans have two options at this point, and you are welcome to choose whichever one pleases you. 1. Continue to stick with the team and hope the Pohlads eventually sell 2. Find another team to root for
  3. Anything to bring Correa home would make me happy as a fan.
  4. Looks like we get good ol’ Jimmy and Tony on Sunday. Here’s a stat: we’re 0-3 in games called by that duo. 2017 @ Panthers - L 24-31 2018 vs. Bills - L 6-27 2022 vs. Cowboys - L 3-40
  5. They should not take a look. First off, Bauer will be 32 next year and won't have pitched a live MLB game in nearly two years. Second off, he's a cheater. Third off, he's a terrible human being. We are not the Cleveland Browns, and never will be as long as I'm a fan.
  6. If the Twins ever pay a dime to Bauer I will root for them to lose every game ever.
  7. While we all previously thought Correa and the San Francisco Giants were going to be allied for over a decade, in a shocking and unexpected twist Correa has agreed to a 12-year, $315M deal with the New York Mets, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post. *sigh* if only we could’ve been the team to swipe him away
  8. Of course he could rebound in Minnesota. Hell, Nelson Cruz had the best season of his career at 39 years here. That being said, it’s not likely at all, which is why I strongly dislike the signing. I think we’re most likely going to see him be a Miguel Sanó-type player (with three true outcomes) who makes a good lineup better and a bad lineup worse. And without Correa, we definitely have the latter.
  9. We need a minimum of three takeaways to have any chance
  10. They have 144 yards of offense, but 30 points.
  11. Hopefully this is the Broncos game from two years ago.
  12. You cannot fall down 17-0 to the ****ing Colts.
  13. So did the whole team decide not to show up today?
  14. Today, the Twins and outfielder Joey Gallo agreed to a 1-year, $11M deal, per Jon Heyman of the NY Post. The Twins will likely look to Gallo in 2022 for…I’m honestly perplexed why the Twins signed him. Joey Gallo is a corner OF, which is a position that the Twins have tons of depth already. Most of the Twins corner OF’s are LH hitters, but Gallo is a LH hitter as well, so adding him doesn’t solve that issue. He provides little to no defensive value, and he doesn’t improve the offense in any way at all. Below are some numbers that evidence this: Joey Gallo: Gallo’s main attribute is his ability to hit the ball hard when he hits it. His Whiff%, K%, and xBA are all terrible. In addition, his xwOBA is well below average. Judging by these stats, he’s essentially the same player as Miguel Sano. Miguel Sano: These numbers practically mirror each other. The only difference between Sano and Gallo is that Gallo is more expensive, and is an OF. Who knows, Gallo could be good. He’s been good in the past. But right now I strongly dislike this signing.
  15. Well, they signed the exact guy I hope they wouldn’t sign. I swear they do this to me every year.
