Lol, me too! The Tele that Don Rich is playing in that video doesn't look like his famous sliver sparkle, it looks more gold. I wonder what became after his silver one after Buck died, apparently he had got it from Rich's widow when he went on tour with Dwight Yoakam. I bet it's worth a pretty penny, hope it's not wasting away in a museum somewhere..........................the suits on the other hand.

Croft at 6-5 and a generous 200lbs is going to have to fill out to make it through a B1G season. Streveler has been working out at wide receiver, I think that's where they should keep him just like they did with Gray.

The passing game needs improvement, yes, it doesn't take much to see that. If you think the biggest problem is Leidner I think you're wrong. Yeah he air mailed a few and 2 hopped a couple, he also was pretty impressive on that 80 yard drive in the closing minutes. Experience? He's only completed one full season. I love how people are so quick to pull the plug on a redshirt junior Win in spite of him? C'mon. So they lose because of him and they win in spite of him? That's balanced I'm not even that big a Leidner fan but he takes way too much criticism imo.

I don't see the point in burning the redshirt on Croft when it's highly unlikely he'll make a significant difference. What for? The Gophers were 8-5 with Leidner last season, including road wins in Michigan and Nebraska and a dismantling of Iowa. They aren't going with a true freshman at this point.

Not at this point, they have Kent St. and Ohio coming up, both at home and it's pretty unlikely they lose either game, which keeps Leidner safe. If they are 0-2 in conference play after Purdue then the noise gets real loud, particularly if the defense plays the way they have.

I just don't think the execution was very good all around in the first half, QB play gets magnified when the Offense is out of sync. The second half was much better and Leidner threw the ball down the field pretty well, he made some very good, key throws. I'm not entirely sold myself but as I said previously, Leidner's job is to manage the game, he largely does that. Statistically I'd like to see him improve as well, we'll see.

Agreed pathetic first half effort, Kill called it embarrassing. Disagree it was all Leidner, it was him, the O-Line, play calling and the receivers. Bottom line, 80 yard drive in just over 2 minutes to score with 55 seconds left, he got it done.
