  1. Assuming Odo wasn’t healthy to go tonight. It really came down to Bailey or Dobnak. And neither one likely makes the post season roster anyways. Seems like a logical place to start Bailey
  2. If Dobnak makes the postseason roster, than who doesn’t?? Alcala? I would rather have Alcala.
  3. Marwin and Ehire will continue to serve as the first choice replacement infielders, as they should.
  4. I wonder what kind of year it could be if Sano, Buxton and Berrios could all stay mostly healthy and play near the top of their potential?
  5. As a non-roster invitee, why not...I suspect a lot of other teams would make the same offer to him
  6. If José, Jake and Pineda are all pitching well at the trade deadline, would a trade even be necessary?
  7. Signing Castellanos might make the team a little better this year, but I would prefer developing Kirilloff, Raley, Graterol, Duran, Berríos, Lewis etc into major league contributors next year
  8. He didn’t look all that major league ready late last year. The best options look to be to either use him as a trade piece. Turn him into a full time reliever (but the 8 man bullpen looks pretty full already). Or try to develop him into a 2021 starter in Rochester this year.
  9. The trades made sense when they were made and several guys that they traded for have a chance to make the 26 man roster at some point this year.
  10. His value is as a candidate for the versatile bench player. Will likely battle with the likes of Wade, Raley, Gordon etc for a spot on the 26 man roster
  11. Let Cron go. Marwin,Ehire,Turtle,Wade can platoon at first. Leave Sano at third. Spend the 7 million on pitching
  12. Corner outfielders don’t seem to have much trade value, unless they are elite. So don’t expect a trade of any of them, including Rosario. So the order of the backup outfielders is likely Cave-Wade-Raley. I would be surprised if any of the other three see the bigs this year. Barring injuries
  13. They may end having to go the Pineda/Gibson route if none of the “better” free agents choose the Twins. No reason to sign Romo, can always find someone like him at trade deadline if they are contenders. Improving the team defense would also be a good goal for this off season.
  14. Maybe an option, but hopefully the Twins can do better than Hamels
  15. The Twins need to add starting pitching however they can. If it means sacrificing some offensive assets, so be it. There will be much competition from other teams in signing the free agents.
