  1. As Red Skelton would say "Good nite folks and may God bless !
  2. I bet Buxton and Kepler order pulled pork when they eat out.
  3. Tell Kepler to shower tonite. He should sleep with correia. Maybe going to the opp field will wear off.
  4. How many guys are up for the Cy Young on this year's Angels staff?
  5. Buxton will meet with the FO tomorrow. "Guys, my knee is really hurting. For another $5 million, I think I can jump a little bit higher".
  6. With buxton's necklace and earrings, he looks like A xmas tree blowing in the wind, when he jogs in.
  7. We bust our butts the majority of the game. We just can't push a run or two more. So the opposition is hanging close. The opposition puts a couple of good swing against our bullpen and we end up losing. It's like gargilng peanut butter, or sprinting in quicksand for this team to win or dominate.
  8. Kepler doesn't need luck. He needs a kick in the head. This constant rolling over on the pitch and hitting into the shift is far more than a liability. It's insanity. Isn't the definition of insanity is doing something over and over again, expecting a different outcome?
  9. Wonder if Rocco would have pulled Jack Morris in game 7, "91" series? Morris would've put a St Paul hurtin on Rocco's puny body.
  10. You wanna see starting pitchers go longer? Set # of pitchers per MLB roster @ 12.
  11. I would like to see the batter's ability to catch the ball as it approaches or crosses home plate, toss the ball up and take a swing at it. You know, remember when you were a kid. I think it would be quite interesting, especially the catching of the ball/pitch.
  12. I care if they win. I have a passion for the game, and most of it is directed to the Twins. You don't follow a team for over 60 years without being able to endure both good and bad times. They're like family. And with that comes a fair amount of loyalty. what a shame not to have a passion about something, even if it is just baseball. With that being said, I probably take losses too hard and take wins too seriously. The Twins don't put any money in my pockets and most people have no clue that I'm a big fan. So, it's the inner self that rejoices or exudes grief.
  13. I have a problem with this intermittent play. If he's hurt, put his rump on IL. If he can play one day and not the next, then his quality of play is negated to a large extent. His masking of a serious injury is outstanding and leads one to think if he's hurting or injured. If he doesn't have the fortitude to play through some pain, then may baseball isn't for him. It isn't all smiles and sunflower seeds. It's like wanting to be a surgeon but you can't stand for a 6 hour operation.
  14. If we play the Dodgers 10 times, the Twins may win 1 or 2. I would edit that: If we play the Dodgers 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 the Twins may win 1or 2 times.
