The Minnesota Twins are just a couple of weeks from the Major League Baseball Trade Deadline. Needing to get better before that point, they’ll have to look at which pieces they’re willing to swap for new talent. Focusing on the rotation and bullpen, they have more than a few options to consider.

We've reached the halfway point of the 2022 MLB Draft, which will conclude with 10 more rounds later this afternoon.

Before everyone freaks out, it was the right approach.

The date was July 14, 2008, and Yankee Stadium was buzzing with the excitement of baseballs being launched into the night. Kicking off the All-Star Game festivities was Chris Berman’s shining moment, the Home Run Derby. This particular event was highlighted by Josh Hamilton’s crazy performance, but everyone in Twins Territory remembers it for a different reason.

With the Major League season taking a break for the All-Star festivities, the vast majority of the minor leagues follow suit as well. None of the full season leagues are in action until Friday, with the Florida Complex League returning to action on Thursday. Today's action was solely marked by the Dominican Summer League taking place.

Monday night is one of the most exciting parts of the All-Star Game as sluggers from both leagues look to be crowned Home Run Derby champion. Here are the best Minnesota moments from the Derby.

The Minnesota Twins selected Tanner Schobel at number 68 overall in the 2022 MLB Draft. Schobel is a shortstop out of Virginia Tech University.

With the 48th overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft, the Minnesota Twins selected Connor Prielipp, a left-handed pitcher out of the University of Alabama.

The All-Star break has arrived, and the Minnesota Twins are breaking down. A tough injury to a key player topped off a deflating finish to the first half.
