The Minnesota Twins' bats were quiet and Kenta Maeda left the game with an arm injury in the Twins 7-1 loss to the New York Yankees. In other words, it was just another day in the Bronx for the Twins.

The Twins might have a bit of a 40 man roster crunch in 2022. The Rule 5 eligible players are one consideration, but the six players on the 60 day IL are another. Not all of these players should necessarily be back.

Nothing new under the sun, as the Yankees crushed the Twins in the Bronx. Charlie Barnes was roughed up early, allowing six runs in two innings, making it hard for Minnesota to come back.

Watching him flail away and fail to produce, month after month, my confidence in Jorge Polanco as a hitter totally eroded. I wasn't too shy about it. 

I'm happy to say that Polanco has proven me, and his other skeptics, very wrong. 

Sorry for doubting you, Jorge.
