Didn’t even need to look it up but it’s Boston marathon day. The Sox game always starts crazy early that day.

I think the point is, on Patriots' Day, the Sox have a history of an 11AM start. 8 AM in Vegas.

An hour later than most English football games. Except, of course, their noon kickoffs that start at 4am here. They use the early Sunday kickoffs for rivalry games so that there is less time for the "ultras" to drink before the game...
