  1. Maaaaybe . . . The Twins only sign a few players to fill holes, and Royce Lewis leads a group of gritty "kids" to take the Central Crown. That would be a fun summer at Bullseye field.
  2. Royce Lewis says he is ahead of schedule rehabbing his knee and since this isn't his 1st rehab rodeo he probably knows what he is talking about. The Brave's Ronald Acuna tore his ACL July 10, 2021 on a similar awkward outfield play and returned to action April 28, 2022. Thats 9-1/2 months to recover. Lewis went down June 10, and a speedy 10-month recovery would put him ready in April 2023. I don't know how major-league ready he will be, but we might see Royce on the diamond sooner than most think.
  3. Oh yeah. Dodger fans already don't like CC, and now that he is part of the hated Giants clan just made it more fun to go to Dodger Stadium for giants games.
  4. I don't know, but the A's got a bunch of pitching prospects on top of outfielder Ruiz that in a few years could make it look like they fleeced them.
  5. Interesting headline at MLB Trade Rumors before the trade announcement, "Christian Vázquez Reportedly Progressing Towards Deal With Unknown Team." They've never heard of the Twins? ?
  6. You see other teams figure out where they need to add players and go out and do it. What are the Twins doing?
  7. Helicoptor money. For most of us it's a fragile economy with severe headwinds and some nasty looking storm clouds ahead, but wow, free agents are sure raking in the cash this off season. The question was, "What’s Next to do in Free Agency for the Twins After the Winter Meetings?" Pretty much the same thing as before the meetings started. We've gotten nowhere and probably are further behind as options are taken off the board.
  8. 35 year old closer Kenley Jansen signs with Red Sox; 2 year $32 mil contract. Thats a lotta green for 60-70 innings per year.
  9. Nice job. Lets hope Twins coaching is already digesting all this and plotting a course for pitching dominance next year.
  10. I've seen bigger crowds at a Lake Harriet pedestrian accident. Thanks for the report and the pics.
  11. Looking at the supplied picture, you guys really do look like a couple of donkeys. ?
  12. So, fix the ass angle, knee extension and make straight the hips, then its balaz to the walaz.
  13. Abreau will be 36 years old when the season starts. If he was the final piece of putting a contender on the field this next year, could be a good move to sign him. But that's not the situation the Twins are in and I think resources are better spent on a shortstop, catcher, righty hitting corner outfielder that can also field and of course pitching.
  14. So I guess we can say we have a Camargo. Details to follow.
  15. I know this doesn't solve anything, but Houston let Correa walk and they still won the World Series. Just sayin'.
  16. Per MLB Trade Rumors the Angels have acquired outfielder Hunter Renfroe for pitchers Janson Junk, Elvis Peguero and Adam Seminaris. Lots of new bodies heading to the Halos early in the off season.
  17. Detroit's offense is due to rebound in 2023 as a big part of their lineup severely underperformed this year so I think it's a good place to be for a hitting instructor. I hope Mr. Rowson finds success, just not against the Twins. ?
  18. A most assuredly possible maybe, but it looks like MR. Renfroe is to remain with the Sudsmen.
