The Minnesota Twins had a weather delay in their game with the Guardians so most of the focus in tonight's video is on the minor league action. Jordan Balazovic had his best game of the season, striking out nine batters while not giving up an earned run over five innings for the Saints. The Minnesota Twins held on to win a game at Yankee Stadium Thursday. It was a nail-biter, but they prevailed 4-3. Carlos Correa delivered the lead with a late home run while Caleb Thielbar and Michael Fulmer protected it through a stressful final two innings. Down in the minors, Simeon Woods Richardson had a strong outing for St. Paul, Austin Martin homered for Wichita and both Matt Wallner and Brooks Lee made good plays in the field.

Louie Varland pitched great in his debut for the Minnesota Twins, striking out five Yankee batters over 5 1/3 innings pitched. He gave up a pair of runs on three hits with one walk. Down on the farm, both Michael Helman and Mark Contreras had big games in support of Ronny Henriquez, who struck out nine batters while giving up a pair of runs in five innings. The Minnesota Twins beat the White Sox 5-1 Sunday to regain a share of the AL Central division lead. Carlos Correa, Dylan Bundy, Jhoan Duran and Jose Miranda were among the Twins to deliver in that one. Down in the minors, Josh Winder, Randy Dobnak and Cole Sands all had rehab outings for the Saints. Winder looked great, in particular. Jair Camargo and Brooks Lee both homered. Players from Fort Myers highlighted include Keoni Cavaco, Dillon Tatum, Noah Cardenas, Carlos Aguiar, Daniel Ozoria and Tanner Schobel.
