  1. Seems to me that this would throw off the aforementioned probability of them all getting hurt at once.
  2. Good question. I didn't catch who the corresponding moves were either.
  3. Buxton and 8 Drew Buteras in the same lineup might not agree!
  4. This ought to be "fun". Hopefully it's isolated to him. And I wish him a speedy recovery.
  5. Not worried at all. Like others have mentioned, just let the kid be an on base machine. Sometimes that natural thing is the way to go. There's still value in that. And if he's not going to stick at SS, then find him a home. I he's plenty athletic that you can probably stick him anywhere and he'll be just fine, but it'd be nice to let him focus on one position.
  6. One thing to note here is that with the shortened spring training, starting pitchers weren't built up like they normally would be at this point in the season. Extra roster spots were added to help facilitate that, so the bullpen isn't as overused as it would otherwise seem.
  7. This is what's got my attention, the division has been awful. I didn't expect it to be good, but it's worse than I would have imagined so far. I agree that Sox will be much better when/if they get healthy.
  8. I'm not really a fan of 2 shutout inning, 4 K bullpen outings either.
  9. If DPs counted as runs, they'd be winning. Or tied anyway.
  10. I've seen the replay, as I've previously stated in the post you quoted. Multiple times even. And I didn't comment until after seeing it. So, yes, I've seen the play.
  11. Not everyone has the benefit of watching it on TV and can only make judgement by the replays that are available to them.
  12. Fair enough. Love to see that angle if anyone finds it. I'm looking, but have yet to find it.
  13. If it hits the grass on the foul side of the dirt, it should have bounced back towards home and into him, and that's not what happened. The replay I'm watching isn't definitively clear, but I don't think it hit the grass. But like I said, it's not obvious.
