  1. Nick Gordon has had a really encouraging season and if not for arraez and ehire playing so well I think he would be giving the big league team quality play. Colina IMO is our third best pitching prospect in the organization. And at this point what does jake reed have to do to get a call up?they've literally called up almost everyone else at least once. I'm not saying I think he deserves it over stashak but I just feel for the guy.
  2. Baseball is hard to play. Especially when you miss the entire spring training. Sano still has a beyond respectable ops and has hit two 8th inning home runs in big spots. I don't see the problem even with the slump his ops is over 800. I feel like that in itself is really all that needs to be said
  3. Great point about Kepler.17 home runs already! Wow. Almost everyone is having a breakout or career year it seems.
  4. I feel like sanos been as good as you could expect someone who's missed the entire spring. Now is a time to be as optimistic as ever about Sano IMO. Feels like he's just being attacked for the sake of being attacked
  5. Is Mitch Garver gonna make the all star game?that would've been a hot take coming into the year. He and polanco have been incredible but to me polanco is far less surprising. When la Tortuga comes back on days garver isnt catching her needs to be at first. His bat needs to be in the lineup every night
  6. An interesting in house solution could be flipping Mejia and pinedas roles. I think Mejia was onto something last year before the injury. Thorpe another possibility for the fifth spot. But I took would like to see an impact arm added but with this front offices m.o. i expect a creative "conservative"approach
  7. Cj cron is batting 206 with three errors at first base. You can't seriously think the twins would block a top ten prospect in Baseball for that production.
  8. Marwin Gonzalez needs to be batting ninth.a good sano makes this lineup SCARY! how good are the Kepler and polanco extensions looking right now for the twins?
  9. When eddie gets hot he goes into MVP territory .schoop is another guy who has extreme hot streaks. The twins have a lot of players that can carry a lineup for a week or two. A good sano makes a very scary lineup. Especially with the way Garver is hitting, no easy outs
  10. Graterol adjusted to high A and double a extremely well . if the twins are in contention(which I fully expect)come September I wouldn't be surprised to see graterol in the big league pen. Pensacola's roster has serious potential to impact the pennant race between him and AK
  11. Thank god for our good ol buddy jeff McNeil. Literally laughed out loud reading that. Great writing
  12. That was awesome. Loved seeing Joe with his catching gear on one last time. Should be a hall of famer. One three batting titles and an mvp behind the plate. I know some people say piazza had better numbers but that was during an era of juiced baseballs and players. He never won an mvp either. If he is in joe should be in joe also was much better defensively. What a way to go out!
  13. in regards to mike piazza joe mauer has three batting titles and mvp plus gold gloves piazza does not have that resume .. more homers thats all piazza has over joe. joe also much better defender
  14. before posey came along Joe mauer was easily the best offensive catcher of all time i sure hope he gets into the hall. i feel like he had enough seasoms behind the plate to warrant that.. he also SHOULD have gold gloves at multiple positions. multiple batting titles and an mvp i really dont understand why the fans turned on him and blame him for everything. his contract didnt keep the twins from doin other things they just never did anyway and its not his fault the concussions happened. after kirby he is definitely my favorite twin player ive been fortunate enough to watch
  15. watching all these 19 and 20year olds like acuna and devers really makes me wonder how much minor league time a kid like lewis really needs..and kiriloff for that matter and because of his position there really is no need to be slow with him. anyway i would love to see the twins ultra aggressive with lewis and have him up early next year .. i dont think kiriloff gives them an option if he starts the year in AA like he has hit all year they will have no choice.. this minor league season has completely made up for how disappointing the big league team was
  16. ive been on the thorpe bandwagon for years but at this point with what hes doing and where hes at in the minors he is a top ten prospect in my personal top five.. the injury concerns are no longer a valid reason to have him so low imo.. he had tj just like graterol and romero
