  1. It'll be interesting to see what the big club does if Gordon keeps hitting like this.. Have to move dozier right?
  2. Just wanted to say that the write ups on the big league club have put the website over the top.. As a person who played sports at a high level it can be frustrating trying to find a website that actually has knowledgeable writers and yall definitely fit the bill.. Just wanted to let you know how great I think the site is.. Appreciate your guys effort
  3. It'll Ber really interesting to see what the new front office decides to do with the 40 man roster and who they risk losing. Big story line this off season as far as the minors go
  4. Surprised to see Thorpe this low. Him and Romero have the two highest ceilings in our system. A lefty starter who hits mid 90s with a potential legit strike out pitch. Health aside I think Thorpe has been the most intriguing and promising pitching prospect we've had. Hopefully he'll bounce back like Romero did this year. He could still debut in the majors by 23 very realistically which is crazy considering how long he's been around and off the mound
  5. He's still extremely young and hasn't had a full healthy year since his first season. I'm more worried about the injuries than his ability. Look at Jackie Bradley Jr. Everyone was ready to write him off. A defensive wiz that couldn't hit. It took him parts of three seasons to get going and he is older and less talented. Bottom line is the kid needs time not every player adjusts yo major league pitching quickly. Few do just because correa and Bryant did doesn't mean we should expect it. I will say that the twins are handling him poorly but hey wouldn't be the twins if they didnt
  6. Assuming barrios stays up I think you can make a case for gonsalves being the top prospect in the system. Had he not been suspended his senior year he would've been a 1st round pick and had more hype. He's dominated every level and his stuff that wasn't supposed to play at higher levels. Him and kirillof are one two IMO and I think you could make an argument Alex is number one he's crushing etown outta high school much better than Buxton did. His hitting is advanced for his age
  7. Hildenberger and wimmers. I'd like to see all the potential bullpen arms possible. I know this isn't gonna happen but I'd like to stretch out Trevor may and get him back starting. I like the young arms in the minors for the pen and the twins need starters who can miss bats which may provides
  8. Jaylin Davis is crushing. Wasnt he considered high upside toolsy prospect potentially all 5? If so with this kind of production he's gonna be a fast riser on the prospect board
  9. Being an out of state fan I only get to see the twins on TV when they come to my market which happened to be this weekend.. And I must say the incompetence shown by the front office is staggering. Why is sano in right field when we're 20 games under 500? Why is Robbie Grossman playing everyday while arcia rides the bench and rosario is at AAA . I understand he's hitting 330 but he has no future as anything other than a fourth outfielder at best. and don't even get me started on the bullpen , j.t. chargois being in the minors stil and Kevin jepsen specifically. Wasn't a fan of the trade last year and definitely am not now. Its time for terry Ryan to go his prehistoric philosophies are just not getting the job done. We fired gardenhire years too late let's not make the same mistake with the front office
  10. The first bright spot of the season. Joe Mauer is finally hitting lead off. This is long overdue imo
  11. Thank god Buxton is getting on track. The twins need to start getting the young arms up to the bullpen to see what we have in guys like chargois this season is over. Also Sam clay has had impressive k numbers. If he doesn't work out as a starter he could fast track to the majors .he's been nasty
  12. I expect him to pitch well I itially he really has the personality to thrive and prove a point that he needs to stay there . I wouldn't be surprise s by a big performance tonight 8+ k
  13. With Meyer back starting we have a ton of pitching prospects ready or almost ready to contribute especially if you consider May. Ryan is going to have to start clearing space for the higher upside arms and that's starts with milone. If Gibson continues to struggle will be interesting to see his future. Is he really better long term than may Duffy berrios and Meyer and in the more distant future Stewart gonsalves and jay? The twins suddenly have a surplus of pitching in the organization. Will be interested to see who they decide to stick with. (P.s. still wish he had chi Wei lol
  14. If you haven't played above low a ball your floor can't be major league regular.. His floor is never make it to the majors.. Fun article tho
  15. If Meyer is gonna start the season in the minors I'd like to see him get one more shot at starting. For a team with no true ace he's the guy who has the potential to be that. They've already moved may to the pen which I also disagree with. He can't move all of the power arms to the pen just to keep space for tommy milone and co.
  16. Terry Ryan has become the master of buy high and sell low.. For a team that's supposed to building for the future signing as bunch of replacement level players to four year contracts was really smart.. Let's just block all of our prospects its not like we have a top five farm system or anything
  17. But Buxton does need to be a up so we get a glimpse of what a hicks Rosario Buxton outfield looks like... That trio would cover a lot of ground and all have good to great arms.. That would be one of the best defensive outfields in the majors.. Amazing considering we came into the year with one of the worst defensive outfields if not the worst

  19. I know this isn't gonna happen but the twins SHOULD call up Kepler and Buxton for the rest of the season and sit Mauer and hunter.. This will be an interesting off season to see who they move and who stays because there Is a major log jam at in the outfield and corner infield.. Would be interesting to see if Dozier could slide back to short and Rosario could play second opening up a slot in the outfield for kepler.. Abundance is a good problem to have but a problem nonetheless
