  1. Interesting that Cole, the Yankees ace, was allowed to throw nearly 120 pitches last night. Because his team needed him to. That’s a lot of pitches a month before the playoffs start. Seems kind of risky. Risky like having Aaron judge steal third. Then again, the Yankees apparently don’t have players who fear failure like the twins do (per Levine)
  2. Shouldn’t the organization be willing to change philosophy if it’s not suited to the way their team is constructed? “Oh, this thing we’re doing isn’t working but everyone else is also doing it so let’s not change anything!”. Sounds like a loser mentality
  3. My girlfriend was at the Harry Styles concert at MSG tonight, probably would have been more worth your time ?
  4. And I didn’t even mention the coaching. And I mean the whole staff not just rocco. Everything has digressed. The fundamentals no longer exist. I don’t believe this regime (of coaches) is the one who’s going to get us over the edge. They’ve not done anything to prove it. I doubt rocco is going anywhere, and he should thank his lucky stars he plays in the central. But the others? For sure there needs to be turnover. A lot of it
  5. You’d think some of the guys wouldn’t be “afraid” of failure. They have a ton of experience at it. Should be old hat
  6. I keep: arraez, Miranda, Duran, gray, mahle, buxton (by default) and a couple of the young pitchers. Everyone else can go. And that includes the coaching staff. And maybe even the GMs at this point. Whole thing needs to be flushed and reset. You’re kidding if you think otherwise
  7. Well I officially say I watched every out. that’s got to be worth some kind of award
  8. Are we going to put a position player in, to make this even worse?
  9. Perfect, perfect bow on this terrible day. Aaron Hicks a bases clearing double. Fan freaking tastic
  10. Davis is making this even more interminably long than it already is
  11. Remarkable that we will probably outhit the Yankees in both games and still get swept ?
  12. Man that’s a bad day at the office for ol kyle garlick
  13. Wait til next year when the new schedule kicks in and we have less games against the tigers and royals
