  1. Well hopefully they face Pagan less in the 9th this year, that matchup seemed to account for a handful of wins last year
  2. Similar profile to Arraez. Good to have someone else who can handle the bat. Close and late with a runner on 2nd he can PH for Gallo
  3. There will still be a lot of 6th innings to pitch so I'm guessing that's Pagans role
  4. I enjoyed this piece. My hope for this Falvey Rocco regime regarding analytics was some innovation and implementation of new or different analytics, rather than chasing something Tampa figured out a few years ago. And I don't know what I don't know of course so they probably are. Less Bundy and Archer will help in the long run as far as 3rd time through the order so let's see how 2023 shakes out.
  5. If things are going right then Gordon might be expendable in a mid-season trade for some bullpen help. Too many health questions to outfielders at this point
  6. It should probably be fine if it's front loaded. 40 per for 5 years, 20 per on the last 4, roughly.
  7. This crossed my mind too that FO might be thinking you can never have too many outfielders after Celestino Cave Contreras became the regulars
  8. Nobody will give up a near top of the rotation starter for that
  9. Twins sign Joey Gallo to minor league deal with invitation to spring training is the only way this made sense
  10. I thought the Royce Lewis experience last season was the most exciting Twins baseball since bomba ball. Figure out how to get and keep that young man healthy and build around him.
  11. Is there a chance Swanson signs a Correa 1 year deal so he can have another 6 war year and go into 2023 offseason as the main SS prize? Seems like the path to get Bogarts money
  12. Twins were 20th in attendance and I expect season ticket interest to be down as inflation lingers. Hard to imagine any big contracts being handed out by this team.
  13. And they're getting pretty expensive so you're better off making your own at home
  14. Kind of have to let the dust settle on the big 4 then agree maybe an IFK or Gavin Lux could be had
  15. I say let's not try to out-Tampa Bay Tampa Bay. Move on and find a full time RH RF.
  16. Surely if all teams got mono, the Twins would not only get mono but take way longer to recover, and require scheduled off days in the 2023 season for all 26 players which just happen to fall on the same day, where fans will pay 16 dollars per beer to watch Jake Cave and the Saints play at Target Field.
  17. A more rigid lineup. Injuries aside, it still felt like a different lineup every game. Players through the years have reiterated that as important.
  18. Completely agree - read the room. 'Gosh Minnesota is nice the people are friendly we had a challenging year I've got the best agent on the planet I hope to heck we can work something out. If not I understand baseball is a business....'
  19. Yes I was going to add that its clearly the uniforms, and specifically the font. This way the Correa t shirt jerseys will be on the clearance rack, but so will everybody's because it's the old design.
  20. I would consider Kepler as 4th outfielder/2nd CFer for next season and hope to sign a starting caliber RF. 4th OF on this team will play quite a bit.
  21. Almost like Cleveland has a constant supply of competitive pitching, like it flows in through some sort of pipeline
