  1. Detroit had their long cleats on all game evidently
  2. Just an embarrassing broadcast by NBC. Cris Collinsworth can’t make it more obvious he wants the Packers to win this game.
  3. Seattle struggling against a stinky Rams team. I’d like tonight’s Lions Packers game to be a win and in for both teams.
  4. Yep. #3 seed is locked up. Bring on the Giants.
  5. Also, thinking more about it, the Bears may just take a QB 1st overall and trade Justin Fields instead. They are years away from being any good.
  6. Kingsbury is gonna get fired tomorrow. Book it
  7. For some reason Houston fought for the win today and got it done. Chicago is locked in with the #1 overall pick.
  8. Also, whether the Bears end up with the #1 or #2 overall pick, I would trade down for a king’s ransom. They are so bad.
  9. Really fun regular season. Best since the magical 2017 run. Now we cheer for the Cardinals!
  10. I imagine we’ll see a majority of backups playing after halftime
  11. They’re making sure they aren’t injured before they fly out for vacation on Tuesday.
  12. You think the Twins have to stick with the total contract value of $285 million? At this point it seems like we can go much lower. His leverage is gone if the Mets indeed back out.
  13. Didn’t take long for Christian Vazquez to be tossed aside here
  14. I would have DFA’d Megill instead. Not gonna touch on Pagan, because it’s obvious the FO loves something about him that’s not evident to fans.
  15. Fair and I concur. With all of the new info we gathered, I would hope the original 10/$285 offer is completely off the table. I’m willing to take the risk up to 6-7 years. The sweet spot will be between 3-5 years no opt outs.
  16. I’ll welcome him back with open arms. That will also change my feeling about the FO as well. If Correa is back, they checked off my 2 top priorities. Signing a SS/middle of the order bat, and signing a catcher who is better than Gary Sanchez.
  17. No reason to create a new rumor thread. Here’s what I just saw. “Report: ‘Strong Possibility’ Twins Steal Correa from Mets”
  18. I’d welcome him back if the Mets back out. But I’m sure as hell not sticking to the original 10/$285 offer. His leverage if the Mets back out is down to nothing. I’d do the 3/$105 contract again with no opt outs. There’s also this from Sports Illustrated: Report: ‘Strong Possibility’ Twins Steal Correa from Mets
  19. I’d do the 3/$105 contract without the opt outs, no questions asked.
  20. No reason for them to do so at this point. The Twins can offer another short term high AAV contract and likely get him. What a weird sequence of events this offseason for Correa.
  21. Finally there’s some logic in this discussion. Couldn’t agree with you more. Even if the Packers end up being the 7 seed, I am not scared of them at home in a controlled dome environment. We may end up being the #3 seed regardless, but handing it to San Fran on a silver platter is weird.
