    I wasn't payin' attention, but yeah, you get some fun intermediate stages if game day encounters something weird, and if some input was poorly considered. Like spring training not providing pitch data so pitch counts assume minimum 3 pitch k's 4 pitch walks, and one pitch per other outcome. Or it xould be as simple as not all players at spring trainging are listed as on the bench, so whatdya do if a detroit puts the prospect formerly known as Prince in center field. Is the game day program expected to have his batting average and spray charts avaiable? Sometimes it fails more gracefully than others... as do we all (i feel like some tiny tim phrasing would apt here...)

    I take it as perhaps the best sign available? With flexibility to fit multiple places? And sufficiently mature he'll be competitive off the bench? And if they 60manned both the players we speculate they would, we got one place to make waiver claims. Anyway, we'll see how it plays out soon enough.

    Realistic expectations? Twins will find a place for him to work through things, either towards his old stuff, or reinventing a repoitoir if he can't do quite what he wa doing. Given that, he won't be added back to the 40 until they are ready to use him, and pretty sure he can have success. Personally, i think he'll be worth having by the end of the summer, even if he is still not 40 manned, but getting to be an elder statesman in the minors, much like Albers. And yeah, i wouldn't count him out. He still has unfinished business against the Yankees in the playoffs...

    I peg Duran as more of a Fezzig type. "I don't have to miss... No tricks, no weapons, just skill against skill. Sportsmanlike." (It's not my fault being the biggest and the strongest. I don't even exercise.)

    I think you're onto something. Didn't Ben-Hur ask to switch sides of the boat so he didn't develop asymmetrically? Perhaps pitchers would get injured less frequently as well. But i am not too concerned. Not enough here to indicate what his offseason regiment has been, not how often he threw 102 today. One max effort throw to see where you're at after working on form in reps, so you don't get set in the slower speed is much more reasonable than 2 hours of hurling 102 non-stop. And an at bat is kinda the next logical unit to put in context.

    And one aspect this article doesn't address... What does a sluggish reporter mean to the upcoming season? I am positing his breaking news rate will actually increase by 2,5 stories anove replacement, as he gets himself into awkward situations, and Minnesota Nice will come into play amongst team and management alike...

    A vastly under rated word! I approve. And for whatever reason, i here the word in the voice of Heckle and/or Jeckle, so i can assume the approve too. Not that anyone approves of Heckle and Jeckle... Yes, quite.
