    Chalmers' two different breaking balls were awesome. He threw one of them for a strike, pretty consistently, and it really had the hitters shaking their heads. The other one he tried to bury, and it succeeded a few times. Then there's the good fastball. Seems like a great pitcher!

    Watching these Astros/Twins games is infuriating. I'd urge you to click through and watch some of the games. (Links are on the site.) Astros players cheating, scoring, then high-fiving as if they'd just done it all themselves. The Twins pitchers getting mauled and looking depressed. It's much, much easier to hit well when you literally know what pitch is coming. Completely unfair and dishonest, and really pulls the rug out from baseball as an enjoyable and competitive sport.

    I guess we'll see about Luis Robert, but Keuchel, Abreu, and Encarnacion don't scare me all that much.

    Dunno if anyone has brought this up, but Marwin's best season (by far) was 2017, the year of the trash whacking. Hasn't been able to replicate it, before or after.

    The problem is that they should be spending $20-30M more this year than they are (so far). If Falvey and Levine cannot figure out a way to spend that money and improve the team, that is a huge disappointment.
